ME3 and DA2: Which was a bigger letdown for you?

I think a majority of the hate on DA2 is just cretin-to-cretin-fashionable and spivs jumping on bandwagons, just like the majority of the ME3 ending angst, especially as the evidence suggests that the "arguments" as to why both sucked seem to be the exact same argument over and over, no matter who posts it.
Kinda curious. That's not to say there aren't legit flaws to the games, it just that time grows every tale.
The amusing bit is people wondering why Bioware ignores the majority of the so-called criticism. Wouldn't you if people just screamed "no, no, no!" at you all day everyday, and then the next bunch comes along and screams "no, no, no!" at them a tad more shrilly and thinks they're adding something?
It does seem to be passing though, to be replaced by, "we won't get nuff'n anyhow, cos they all suck and want us to suffer, well, we'll show them!" blah, blah.
Like that'll work, either.

Neither. Like them both quite a bit. Will likely play DA3 if it ever comes.

Interesting thing is, that most of the "Retake ME3 Ending" (or whatever its called) will indeed buy "The Ending" DLC (if there is one) and any other DLC EA and BioWare sell to them. I'm disappointed with the ending too, but I still think that all 3 games are briliant.

So basically, right from the beginning DA2 sucked, but ME3 only sucked at the very end. So ME3 was a way bigger letdown, especially when I had so much invested in the Mass Effect universe. For DA2, I immediately traded it in when I was done (didn't buy any of the DLC which I've heard is great) but for ME3 I'm keeping the game in hope that Bioware will fix the ending. However, if they don't fix the ending I won't buy any of their DLC and I'll trade in the game (Plus I'll never buy a Bioware game new or at full price ever again).

DA2 wasn't a disappointment to me at all. Any time I had a problem with it, it was a small problem. Also, it's not the ending to a massive five-year trilogy. I'm of the mind-set that a middle game/book/movie can fall short, as long as the beginning sucks me in and the end is proper.

You are in the right. They are brilliant, and it's a pity the whiners seem to be winning the day. I'll probably buy the forthcoming DLC too (shouldn't be too expensive, since the majority will probably be for MP, and I don't play that), and not mind at all. Like I've said, the games have their flaws, naturally, but nothing that needs this level of "outrage".
If DA3 is some epic thing with Hawke and the Warden battling some fantastic end of the world scenario as well, I'll buy that too. I don't expect life changing experiences from games. I expect to be entertained. If I am happily entertained, I can overlook a bit, and neither ME or DA is anywhere near as borked as people like to bleat on about.

ME3. DA2 made it quite obvious that I wasn't continuing the Warden's story and this was in fact as much a story about Hawke and Kirkwall as anything else. I liked DA2.
All of this. ME3, was a kick in the quad from a steal toed boot.

It was a hastily pasted together Beta-build.

Jade Empire was a letdown. I might need to give that game a second chance someday.

I was more invested in ME3 so much more disappointed, I expected to *hate* DAII and when I actually played it, overall the feeling was "well this isn't so bad..."
