I'd say ME3, because DAO and DA2 felt, somehow disconnected from each other, so to me they were 2 completely different games, but all the plot holes in ME3 (which they left, so they can sell $10 DLCs and $30+ comic books) and this ending (maybe left open for the same reason) disappointed me a lot :(, but dont get me wrong I still think the ME3 is awesome game and 10 minutes of ending scenes, can't stop me from replaying it countless times, like I did with ME1 and ME2. Everything from Shepard looking out the window on Normandy SR-1 all the way to Harbingers beam was awesome experience.

Neither.  Like them both quite a bit.  Will likely play DA3 if it ever comes.

I think a majority of the hate on DA2 is just cretin-to-cretin-fashionable and spivs jumping on bandwagons, just like the majority of the ME3 ending angst, especially as the evidence suggests that the "arguments" as to why both sucked seem to be the exact same argument over and over, no matter who posts it.

Kinda curious.  That's not to say there aren't legit flaws to the games, it just that time grows every tale.

The amusing bit is people wondering why Bioware ignores the majority of the so-called criticism.  Wouldn't you if people just screamed "no, no, no!" at you all day everyday, and then the next bunch comes along and screams "no, no, no!" at them a tad more shrilly and thinks they're adding something?

It does seem to be passing though, to be replaced by, "we won't get nuff'n anyhow, cos they all suck and want us to suffer, well, we'll show them!" blah, blah.

Like that'll work, either.

ME3 was a much bigger let down. I can still play the DA series fine, but ME3 ruined the first two games.

My expectations for ME3 was WAY WAY Higher then it was for DA2 because of all the BS BioWare was saying about ME3. That being said I still think DA2 was a bigger disapointment, and I have yet to buy any DLC for that game.

Interesting thing is, that most of the "Retake ME3 Ending" (or whatever its called) will indeed buy "The Ending" DLC (if there is one) and any other DLC EA and BioWare sell to them. I'm disappointed with the ending too, but I still think that all 3 games are briliant.

While Dragon Age 2 was defintely the worse of the two, Mass Effect 3 was the biggest letdown. They are both very similar though, only one tiny hub-world/city that goes through minor cosmetic changes, and endings where it doesn't matter what you did the rest of the game, your actions have no effect on the outcome. However, Dragon Age was filled with obvious glitches and general slopiness (Copy pasted dungeons with bricked up passageways or locked doors to provide variety, while still keeping the same map) while Mass Effect 3 was pretty perfect except for some eye tracking issuses mosly involved with Ravik and the horrible face import problem, which someone should have tested and fixed before the game released.

So basically, right from the beginning DA2 sucked, but ME3 only sucked at the very end. So ME3 was a way bigger letdown, especially when I had so much invested in the Mass Effect universe. For DA2, I immediately traded it in when I was done (didn't buy any of the DLC which I've heard is great) but for ME3 I'm keeping the game in hope that Bioware will fix the ending. However, if they don't fix the ending I won't buy any of their DLC and I'll trade in the game (Plus I'll never buy a Bioware game new or at full price ever again).

me3. Dragon Age 2 did what is allowed, its not the end of a trilogy, mistakes are ok as long as you get it right in the end.

ME3, easily.

DA2 wasn't a disappointment to me at all. Any time I had a problem with it, it was a small problem. Also, it's not the ending to a massive five-year trilogy. I'm of the mind-set that a middle game/book/movie can fall short, as long as the beginning sucks me in and the end is proper.

I felt that DA2 was the bigger letdown. For certain points in the game no matter what you did the end result was the same (ie rescuing Ma Hawke). DA1 felt like it had more options when it came to resolving a situation.

You are in the right.  They are brilliant, and it's a pity the whiners seem to be winning the day.  I'll probably buy the forthcoming DLC too (shouldn't be too expensive, since the majority will probably be for MP, and I don't play that), and not mind at all.  Like I've said, the games have their flaws, naturally, but nothing that needs this level of "outrage".

If DA3 is some epic thing with Hawke and the Warden battling some fantastic end of the world scenario as well, I'll buy that too.  I don't expect life changing experiences from games.  I expect to be entertained.  If I am happily entertained, I can overlook a bit, and neither ME or DA is anywhere near as borked as people like to bleat on about.

Besides the ending I loved ME3. DA2 on the other hand was a big let down.

ME3. DA2 made it quite obvious that I wasn't continuing the Warden's story and this was in fact as much a story about Hawke and Kirkwall as anything else. I liked DA2.

Da2 was the bigger let down because most of the game was a let down, where as only the ending of ME3 was a let down. therefore Da2 is the bigger let down

Easily ME3. I loved DA:O but I never got as immersed in the DA series as I have with the all the ME games, so DA2 just feels... meh. Its funny though, ME3 was a great game up until that ending. DA2 was bleh throughout the whole plot to me.

I just expected better from ME3.

If you think about if, DA2 is not that different from ME2, apart from the fact that you play different character in DA2. I mean that in ME2 you don't actually do much to stop the Reapers (where in ME1 and ME3, that's your only goal) except from the destroying the human reaper at the end, which does not really stop them, just ****** 'em off :D.... "What about the Arrival DLC" you'd say, well this DLC is pretty much pointless, if you play it after the "Suicide Mission" (yes you can play it after the last mission)

I loved DAO, passionately. DA2 was kind of meh. Didn't care too much for the characters, the level design was utterly boring and the ending was kind of weird, what with the mages I sided with still changing into abomination, despite the fact that we were winning. Still, I can play it again, not like ME3. I think the reason for that is that ME3 was such a great story until the last ten minutes. With DA2 I could just shrug and say "oh well, that was weird" and forget about it. With ME3 I actually cared about the characters a great deal. So ME3 was definitely the greater letdown.

I did not hate DA2 as much as some people, So ME3 was much more disappointing.

Both were enormous letdowns, but at least ME3 wasn't released as a hastily pasted together Alpha-build.

It was a hastily pasted together Beta-build.

 loved ME3, liked DA2 enough.

Jade Empire was a letdown. I might need to give that game a second chance someday.

ME3 was a bigger letdown, but it's still the better game.

I was more invested in ME3 so much more disappointed, I expected to *hate* DAII and when I actually played it, overall the feeling was "well this isn't so bad..."
