Bioware's misstep with Tali's face has far larger consequences.

Also, Grunt didn't say quarians have plates. They could just have very tough skin.

I'm glad you liked it. I hope you don't take it too poorly when I say that I have more complex motivations than “omghawt”.

What ever floats your boat, chief. I'm just glad she was sexy, humanoid, and didn't end up looking like a cross between ad Vorcha and a Rachni.lillitheris wrote...

Also the reveal of Tali's face was just cheap. Instead of reveling her face at the climax of Rannoch, (her taking in her new home or her suiciding) they decided to use a photo in your cabin AFTER all the built up emotion is gone. At this point instead of "Yay I got to see her face! Sure it was humanlike but I still got to see it!" to "What? A picture in my cabin that I can't even get a good look at? Not only that but it's just an edited human and doesn't really like a quarian's body in the first place. Is this a joke?"
I would've prefered a more alien-like face based around the humanlike features we've already seen, but instead we get a human with cybernetic implants. I'm not a big fan of the popular "space elf" image that people post but would've been fine with something similar if it was revealed on Rannoch and not with some small picture. Heck I could see the picture of Ash/Kaidan better than that thing.

I cant believe some posters actually defend this picture when its obviously a sub par effort on bioware's part. My opinion I wont have seen her face until I see it rendered with in game graphics, smiling and talking from underneath her hood. I didnt see her face in ME3
It was very lazy of Bioware to use a photo, but I like it and I am very happy with the way she turned out.

Indeed. The only real problem I have with the photo is the hand.

I'm just glad another race has HAIR.
That's what bothered me the most. All that hair, that never gets washed, always stuck inside the helmet portion of the suit as best as it can be fitted in... brr, no. Do not want. Bald or something would've been preferable.

With the sterilized environment living aboard the Migrant Fleet and their suit's ability to self-cleanse and disinfect, quarians are hygienic. They have to be given their immune systems. I'm sure Tali has her ways of keeping herself clean without exposing herself to contamination.
As for her hair, she could tie it up in a pony tail or braid it to reduce its volume.

Besides the ending it is the worst part of ME3, for all the mystery the Quarians had going for them, they has become a joke, unoriginal and very boring. And because of such a lazy job I will never believe Bioware has any real "artistic integrity"
edit:
To me there was a perfect moment in the game to show how she looked and how the quarians looked, when she takes of her mask on her home planet. When I saw that she took her mask of I thought to myself, that finally I was going to get to see her.....

1. Why so crossed eyes. She looks like a asian on crack.( no offense I'm asian)
2.Do you really think her eyes are glowing the whole time. Maybe its some thing in darkness like cats. I mean if I'm shephard and I'm on top of her, I'm gonne be freaked out by her. I wouldn't RISE to the occasion. LOL!
3. I wish they had a more emphasis on skin color. Pretty much everyone thought she was at least a pale purple.
4. The Hair! I always imagined it shorter. I mean putting in that in your suit after every bootycall( And I own the phone company) must be a real Bosh'Tet
5. Nail polish wtf. Do Quarians even have nail polish?
6.The fingers look like my girllfriends ********.(He did not)
7. Oh, he did.
8. We have enough characters with black hair. Why not a brownie.
9. That shawl and the way she posed isn't possible and not like her respectively.
What I liked
1. Those cybernetics wear pretty cool.
2. She looks pretty sexy.
3. It kinda looks like Rannoch.
So yeah. Those were my opinions. And for you liaramancers... (p.s. Just replace blue with quarian hybrid or purple)

Seriously, since this was the last installment, it wouldn't have hurt for them to show us Tali without her helmet, smiling on Rannoch and talking to Shepard instead of a lazy pic when she dies.
^This. Another example of a "good enough" shortcut.
