Can someone give me a rundown of exactly where all 6 drakes are so that I can murder them ? I explore the wyrmling lair but only get 5 scales. Any helps ?

Actually there can be a seventh drake depending on what you do.



What's weird is you missed one, because if I remember correctly, they come in two groups of 3. Try to backtrack and make sure you haven't left some remains unchecked.



The seventh drake is on the mountain top. If you agree to assist Kolgrim he will be waiting for you there with a few minions and a drake, then you can "change your mind" and kill them all.

Was there a drake in the Magi Tower? I thought those were all dragonlings.

Sometimes there's a delay between when you fell an enemy and when it becomes lootable. The drakes come in groups of three IIRC, so stick around for a while to make sure you've looted all their corpses.

All 6 drakes are in the same area. The first group of 3 in the drake den part, the 4th and 5th in the same room with the cultist overseer, and the 6th is up the stairs from the overseer in a room with an assassin and a mage. (and a bunch of eggs sitting around on circular tables)

on my first play through i had this happen to me too, second time round i had 2 skins left over! try running around the lair and maybe you can find one that you forgot to loot.

Here are where all 6 drakes are inside the temple area.

I'm guessing you missed the single "1" up in the far corner.

You can get an oddball 7th scale depending on how you do things with the Cult in the temple, then there's also the single Dragonscale you can get off the big dragon at the top of the mountain.

You also get another if you betray Kolgrim after he gets you past 'Andraste'

There are only dragonlings at the tower. The highest level I've done the tower at was around level 12, so it is of course possible that they turn into drakes or something at higher levels, but I somehow doubt it.
