IF DAO was "real life" and you could only die ONCE...how far would you have gotten in the game?

The Kacari Wilds... past the hanging bodies, crossing the little bridge near the place you find the Chasind trail chache.. I went running after the Emmisary and got drilled in a nice array of triangular bow and arrow fire.

I'd bite it at the joining. I'm horrible with anything to do with chance.

My first playthrough I died at the ogre. My second playthrough never died, even got the trophy to prove it!

I intended the question to mean a total party death because your party is able to revive itself if even one person in the party survives the encounter. However, I love the responses that assume I meant you as a real person in the DAO world! Yep...I'd have fallen on my sword two about 10 seconds in.

I would've died in the most horrible fashion possible. ie: eaten by the brood mother.

I'd either be stuck the foot of an ogre in the Tower of Ishal or bleeding to death in a dark, dirty Denerim back alley...

I got my ass handed to me by the bandits at the bridge to Lothering. Right after I said "Are you SURE you want to ****** off a mage?"
Thankfully, Alistair, Morrigan and Dawg saved my bacon, but yeah, that would've been the end of the proud Grey Warden Damar.

I would've died in my bedroom of Cousland Castle. I mean I'm woken up in my small clothes when two fully armed and armored men bust down the door. I really don't think they would've really given me the time to don my armor to give them a fair fight.

I like how some people are claiming that they have never fallen and are nea the end of the game, but they don't have most f the story achievements or event 'resilient' for getting through Ost without falling.

that damned ogre at the tower "squashed me like a bug". i laid on the floor like a road pizza while the rest of my party took him out.

I would of died in te mage tower when you go to the dream world and get split from the party. I had very little spell protection on my warrior and was low on health poltices, those mages blew my ass up. Other than that, the only other spot i died was in denoram in the secret warehouse where you went to kill the blood mage. There is a huge area with 3 doors leading in, and bwehind each door is a group. As soon as you walk in, you get chain agroed and it is a tough fight. Took a couple loads to make it through that one:)

I would never have left the Circle Tower, and I would have trouble sleeping because the sun would never set while I was there. Also there'd be no point to escaping out the windows because I wouldn't be able to pass the invisible barrier preventing me from getting into the water. The weather would bore me to tears because it never rains or snows. Finally I'd have just one set of robes to wear my entire time there, though I could put a sack on my head if I wanted to run around scaring the children.
All in all, it would be a very static life. I would probably commit suicide and never even get to meet Duncan.

god damn ogre. Seriously, what a fight to give a DA:O noob, lol.
On my play throughs of Ostagar on different characters it was far easier, but still a challenge.

the first bandit fight in Lothering (the one that happens when you first enter the town), never had anyone drop until I was cut scene ambushed and killed instantly, only my main died in that fight.

Well if you want to get real about it I probably would have died about 50 seconds into the game. The mages know what I mean.

My first character would've fought his way through the estate only to be absoloutely pasted by Vaughn, because I was very overconfident in that fight the first time.
If it were actually me? I have only a very basic notion of how to use a sword, so I'm guessing probably n the first fight. Not sure if that's what was meant, though.

same. this got me the first playthrough on my warrior. didn't see it coming at all, so didn't take precautions staying healed with health poltices... coupled with the fact that there's no healer in your group as a warrior in the beginning of the game, i had no chance when the damn thing picked me up
