You know, unless I got attacked by a pack of wolves traveling to Denerim.
They're monsters.

Real life? Depends, do I have my gear with me? I'm pretty sure a 9mm will take that ogre down. Luckily, I got a couple of decades of playing with swords to fall back on when my ammo runs out

Another possible origin that could represent me is the dwarven commoner- and probably got killed by a thug in there.
If the human commoner was there, i'd be killed too... by hurlocks when they run along.
would last long at all I would admit...
no computer to throw at them either
oh well, there is always books...

My first playthrough I woulda been toast on the first ogre. Bloody thing grabbed my mage right of the bat and beat the crap ut of him before I knew that was happening.
Same here. In my first playthrough my mage was bashed and smashed too fast, because it went after me first before turning to the warriors. Maybe my lightning tickled the ogre too much?! (I think Alistair didn't have threaten on either: Noob-error I guess.) Hehe

( I had one better, none had fallen, mage had not been resisted or chased dow and then... Alistair steals my kill... again... grrr... but this more real to it... that is my char which is lvl 17 still uninjured... will he make to the end?)

Alistair always steals the killing animation for large creatures which can be a bit annoying sometimesRageGT wrote...

I have never died in game, and that is playing on nightmare with my eyes closed, and with the sound off. I'm like the Pinball Wizard of this game.
In your first run? I ended up my first run in Hard diff wirth 20 injuries... Nightmare's been a lot better with zero, but that's experience, imho!
Oh, and I did get the kill for that Ogre in the movie! =)

The strategy against him is very much like against the Ogre in BG1, by the way. Make him follow you and keep running, while your group uses ranged to kill him slowly from the distance.

Yep. Web Design doesn't have many useful combat skills I'm afraid.
