Me? In real life? Well, since I'm a pretty proficient mage in real life (It was my major at Hunter college. My minor was blood magic.) I'd say I probably would never die. Like, ever. Not for a thousand years.

You know, unless I got attacked by a pack of wolves traveling to Denerim.

They're monsters.

Redcliffe spawn on my first run with dwarven rogue commoner (hard difficulty). Crushing Prison + Curse of Mortiality death for my Elven Mage in Deep Roads (nightmare difficulty).

I was ogre dinner to. Damned ogre.

Real life? Depends, do I have my gear with me? I'm pretty sure a 9mm will take that ogre down. Luckily, I got a couple of decades of playing with swords to fall back on when my ammo runs out . No idea how long I'd last. I DO know I wouldn't be dumb enough to travel with JUST 3 folks. I'm bringing ALL of my companions with me.

Would have never made it past the "mage harrowing".

Another possible origin that could represent me is the dwarven commoner- and probably got killed by a thug in there.

If the human commoner was there, i'd be killed too... by hurlocks when they run along.

would last long at all I would admit...

no computer to throw at them either

oh well, there is always books...

First ogre battle. I was so close to beating him though. Loaded up, beat him second try.

Request a move to spolier section...

*for those poor sods who isn't on their 5:th playthrough yet...*

Same here. In my first playthrough my mage was bashed and smashed too fast, because it went after me first before turning to the warriors. Maybe my lightning tickled the ogre too much?! (I think Alistair didn't have threaten on either: Noob-error I guess.) Hehe

To avenge all that fell to that Ogre:

( I had one better, none had fallen, mage had not been resisted or chased dow and then... Alistair steals my kill... again... grrr...  but this more real to it... that is my char which is lvl 17 still uninjured... will he make to the end?)

Alistair always steals the killing animation for large creatures which can be a bit annoying sometimes :alien:

I have never died in game, and that is playing on nightmare with my eyes closed, and with the sound off. I'm like the Pinball Wizard of this game.

I would've probably died on one of Beraht's jobs prior to the dwarf commoner intro.

In your first run? I ended up my first run in Hard diff wirth 20 injuries... Nightmare's been a lot better with zero, but that's experience, imho!

Oh, and I did get the kill for that Ogre in the movie!  =)

I never wiped at the Ogre.

The strategy against him is very much like against the Ogre in BG1, by the way. Make him follow you and keep running, while your group uses ranged to kill him slowly from the distance.

Yep. Web Design doesn't have many useful combat skills I'm afraid.

I would've been toast at the entrance to the tower at ostagar - had a rough time getting past the first room.
