I assume they'll just set galactic readiness to a permanent 100% when they close the servers.
that would be the most logical thing to do.. which of course means it wont happen

I haven't played any MP and I got the "best" ending, I managed 4000+ EMS without MP.
It's been mathematically proven to be impossible with only single player. No ioS or anything. I have even repeated the calculations myself.
Please share if you have found a way to reach 4000 EMS.

Your EMS is of no influence in the portion of the game that's actually fun to play.

Synthesis ending is achievable without MP, and it's also the best ending according to Bioware and will probably be canon. Some DLC might add some war assets that can help you get 4k EMS.
We'll see.
Really? I'm surprised they think that rubbish is the best ending. If that's what they try to push on us with DLC or post ME3 then I have no faith in the franchise.

so forcing everyone into becoming organic and synthetic hybrids (or orgathetic if you will) is the best ending acording to bioware?

At 50% readiness You'll still be able to get the synthesis ending with enough work, but I think the 'Shepard lives' destroy ending will be unreachable without cheats.
Pretty sure this is accurate. I did every mission in my first playthrough and ended it with 50% readiness, and got the synthesis ending.
The sad thing to me is really that honestly, who cares? It's two seconds of a cutscene, and it's not an outcome that saves. The game just bounces you back to before the endgame anyway. But yeah, I hope when the servers shut down, we just get permanent 100% GR.

When EA eventually shuts down the ME3 servers in the future (this WILL happen), we won't be able to get our Galactic Readiness up? This means we'll be stuck at 50% readiness for all time.
How will we unlock the synthesis ending then? Or the "Shepard wakes up at the end of destroy" ending? Won't these endigns just be locked out for us forever after the multiplayer closes? Are playthroughs of ME3 5 or 10 years in the future completely ruined because of this fact?
Speculate below!
A patch that sets your GAW stat to 100% sounds like the most ridiculously obvious choice.

So was 3 different endings (Good, Neutral, Evil) but look how that turned out.

What about the people that don't play MP and never download any DLC???
If you can't buy DLC you are not useable in the future. So screw you

More DLC will most likely add more War assets - thus allowing you to be fine w/o multiplayer
(Assuming this won't happen for quite a while of course)

Eh, for what it's worth, it's the best one for Joker and EDI.
That's not saying much, granted, but still.
