This, there were a lot of balls dropped with ME3 (Tali's face, the ending,no final boss fight/final boss wasn't going to be Harbinger anyway, cutting things for being "too video-gamey"), this is just one of many.

This is why they needed to give themselves a full 2 years.

Or just leave it, forcing fans to edit gamefiles.

Synthesis ending is achievable without MP, and it's also the best ending according to Bioware and will probably be canon. Some DLC might add some war assets that can help you get 4k EMS.

Synthesis ending is definitely attainable without MP, I've done it. Never heard Bioware say it's the "best ending", and the rest is... speculation.
