So we need to figure which gun has the magazine size and action we want. Hornet is potentially the highes DPS in the game on a Turian soldier, but it's action (even if we are using a rapid fire mouse, controller, or keyboard) will gimp the real DPS that would otherwise be possible. The Mattock suffers from this too, as well as the small magazine. The Revenant looks to be a safe bet.
so with refire rate in mind, would you say the hurricane would be better than the hornet? Since they're fairly close numbers wise, according to what I'm reading. and Hurricane, being fully auto and not burst fire, would not suffer from refire rate issues?
Not that anyone actually has a level X hurricane, but assuming?
Or am I misunderstanding what you've said?
edit:wow you updated those numbers quick, op.
On paper the hurricane looks great, but try it and I almost guarantee you will hate the rediculous amount of recoil the thing has. even with maxed stability turian and in cover It is a struggle to keep on target (on the xbox, may be a bit easier on the pc)
Playing with the hornet over the last few days, It doesn't benefit from the speed bonus by a whole lot since it already has a very short refire time, but the accuracy bonus from marksman makes rapid spamming possible. The hornet is basically a lighter vindicator, the ~10% difference or so in their damage is made up by the weight differences.
from the short time I tried it with my turian soldier on bronze, I honestly didn't notice much in the way of recoil. Will have to try that out again...
edit: I'm on pc, maybe that does have more than a little to do with it.

Even at lvl 3 the paladin would still be worth the large damage increase. But you would have to carry just the paladin to keep your marksman recharge reasonable

The sticks on the box have too much deadzone and not enough sensitivity to keep it on target for more than a second which means on silver or gold you are constantly stopping your fire to re adjust - not afficient in the least bit.

Now let's drop a squad of turians on Condor Reaper Gold and let the turians fend for themselves
It could happen, 4 turians with tempests /w heatsink+Thermalclips and Phalanxes /w Armorpiercing and thermalclips could probably do it. If one krogan soldier can, then four turians in good hands should be able to as well.

I'm having so much fun with my Turian Talon/Hornet soldier. The thing absolutely wrecks Gold, especially since I have a Talon VII.
Cheers.
