Canadian literature must suck then.

Hey now, I don't pretend that Bob Redneck who thinks Afghanistan is in Japan is an average American, do I? Let's not do the same here!

Of course that's all you can say.

OP: I'm happy for you. I got it also. I loved it. For some people this is not ok. They want us to hate it. I started a thread about loving the ending and now I wish I would of jumped of a cliff instead. Hopefully your thread gets better response but as you can see above that isn't going to be the case. I hope you have hard skin because it's coming, trust me. Anyway it's awesome other people got it. Bioware truly did an amazing job. It's one of my favorite endings in a long long time. It was simple, perfect, spiritual and far from horrible.

Somehow those "understanders" bear an uncanny resemblance to the chimpanzee critiques, but maybe that's just my impression...

If you don't want people making fun of you and insulting your intelligence for not liking the ending, maybe you shouldn't insult people who liked the endings.

Just sayin.

I'm getting tired of being polite and respectful just to be constantly insulted for having a differing opinion.

Cheers, Bioware!

You've been getting a lot of horrible feedback about the ME3 ending, and I just wanted to say thank you for crafting an amazing conclusion to such a sweeping narrative.  I'm not even being sarcastic or anything.  I've finished the game three times now, and I have to say I was very satisfied with how the entire series played out, including the ending and, especially, the stargazer finale.  I don't even buy into that "indoctrination theory" stuff, either; I think the ending stands tall on its own.  You should be proud of crafting some of the best material in recent Canadian literature (because that's what it is).

Anyways, I just thought you'd like to hear that not everyone missed the point of your conclusion to Shepard's story.  I'm excited to see you're eager to please the disappointed fans, and I, too, can't wait to see whatever alternative you develop.

Keep up the good work!

new to game, or try-hard troll. either way I don't believe you. 1/10. If you were honestly serious, then please try to explain the points indoctrination theory tries to fill in using Bioware's store/lore/codecs, etc.

Someone link that "Not sure if trolling" meme

why is every possitive thing now labeled trolling?

do you even know what that means? because people sure do throw that word around alot

he's not being positive he is making fun of people that are postive by reinforcing a damaging stereotype against them.

so if he likes something that now means hes making fun?

do you even realize how crazy that sounds?

This is the Internet. If you like something that the vocal part hates it is read that you are either a) crazy, B) stupid or c) trolling.

internet or not its annoying

I know. That's why I usually stay away from forums. And believe me here it is quite civil. Try Morality threads on the Order of the Stick forums. Those are really bad.

nope i wont stick to other forums because i have every right to go where i want and post in where i want

my attitude is if i dont like how people respond to someone like op yea ill call them out on it because they dont own this board

if they dont like it  tough and maybe they should start realizing that theres one member of this community who will challenge them on there comments

people can dog on me all they want because in the end its those people who end up being laughed at when posts of theres end up on other forum websites

Clearly, if I liked the ending and others don't, then they didn't get it like I did. That's not passive aggressive; that's factual.

That's great, seriously.

But your last sentence just pisses people off. No one has a problem with people that  like the ending or even love it, its when you assume we "didn't get it" people have a problem with. If you want to understand why we hate it, there are loads of videos, threads and articles explaining it.

I'm sorry, but earlier when I said "others didn't get it like I did," all I meant was others didn't see it the same way I did. I did not mean to imply that others could not understand the ending or were incapable of getting it; I was just indicating the difference of interpretations.

And, I'm not trying to convince people to like the ending, either, so I'm not about to provide a dissertation detailing how the ending is more than adequate. I just wanted to express that I enjoyed it the way it was. The Bioware team probably feels pretty bad about disappointing their fans and I wanted to give them some positive feedback.

Point? There was no point. You can like it all you want, but don't you dare pretend there was a point to this futile nihilistic ending.

I see a lot of anti-enders asking the pro-enders "What did you like and what did you 'get' about the ending?" And I've yet to see a single answer to that question. I wonder why we, the anti-enders, think you're trolling?

Alright, if you think the ending is perfect and stands tall on it's own, explain the Normandy scene, with logic and context. Right now.

I consider it one of my more lamentable failings that I can't help but scrutinize everything with logic; and am unable to limit my own perception and suspend my disbelief to the level that the Mass Effect 3 ending is anything but nonsensical.

'tis truly stated that ignorance is bliss. I envy you that bliss, OP.

Hey METALPUNKS, you never did answer my counter to your Jesus comparison.

I will state it here. Jesus rejected Satan's temptation. Shepard did not. Explain why you compare the two.
