After a cutscene conversation with EDI in her new body, my character is now standing on the bridge, unable to move. I can rotate the camera and speak with EDI and Joker, who are within range, but even after speaking to them, I'm still stuck. Figuring that it would be solved by restarting the game, I saved and exited. When I restarted and loaded that save file, I was still stuck. I do not have any other save files. How can I un-stuck my character?

This happened on the day that I bought the game and I have not been able to play it since then because of this, so I feel like I just flushed $60 down the toilet.

Re-load the save, and while it's loading, tap one of the movement buttons.

Ah the old stuck on the bridge bug. BTW dont walk on the floor between Joker and EDI where the you can see the piping/whatever under the floor, that where it happens its 100% reproducible for me.

Only way to fix is to reload the Normandy Auto-save and don't step on that spot, the save on that spot wont work as your already been caught by the black-hole.

That spot is a reaper indoctrination zone. It's a total of 3 square inches but enough to immobilize you.

I've had the same issue miltiple times.  Its quite frustrating.

Can't believe this didnt come up in testing as, just before writing this, its got me for a fourth time.  The problem also lies in that between some cut scenes with EDI or Joker, the game can 'reload you' a little off kilter, and puts you in the panel on the floor which of course = stuck in place.  Reload, and do all the conversations again.  sigh.

This is why there should be no such thing as a 'perfect' game score.  9/10 will do just fine.

Didn't work. I had to reload the Normandy auto-save (which I didn't even realize existed... doh!) from a few minutes before that scene.

Either way, my problem is resolved. But that needs to be patched!

happened to me too. Just behind joker, right?

Also i saw a funny "stuck in the shuttle" bug once!
I was in the shuttle, could walk around, but couldnt get out.
I could rotate the camera and see the blackness outside, but could not get out.

Reload fixed it just fine. I didnt report it cos it only happend once.

A bug this old? NOT funny.
Why is there no /stuck option at least?
The swtor team knew how to do this, even if the option was never needed.

Have had the same problem multiple times. Reloading with pressing movement button never worked for me. But I think the game makes an auto-save each time you return to the Normandy and I always head to the bridge first...
But it really should have been fixed by now.

After it happens a few times, you learn to quick-save before entering the cockpit.

This bug was reported early on, and should have been fixed with one of the first patches - along with a bunch of other bugs. I've had more problems with bugs and glitches in ME3 than in the first two ME games combined. ME2 especially was pretty bug-free.

This just happened to me in game, and it has happened earlier also. Stuck a little behind where Joker sits. Can't move the character.
