I don't normally play Bronze, but since I just promoted my infiltrator, I didn't want to risk being a burden to my team, so I thought, i know, I'll go play Bronze.

First lobby, a level 17, and 2 level 20's... me at level 1. First round, a level 20 goes down far away... and quits. We finish the match anyway, I'm top.

Lobby disbands. New Lobby, a level 17, two level 19's, me level 6. Nobody leaves, but top again.

Okay, seriously, Bronze is easy, why are there so many high levels in it? Silver isn't even that hard.

Speaking of which, after those two matches, I feel like I'm easily good enough for Silver now. First lobby I join, all high levels, I finish top, no consumables used. Decide to leave as my teammates seemed to die a hell of a lot.

Next lobby, I'm still the lowest level by a good amount, but we start. I used 0 consumables, revived a lot, always did the objective, top for the longest time until the guy near me uses about 3 rockets to jump ahead of me. End of game, I came a close second... I get kicked. What? Why?

High N7/character lvls =/= skill, as you proved by dominating with your lvl 1. The character alone cannot be a powerhouse; the player behind it has to be competent and know their way around the class. I'd rather low-skill, high leveled characters stay in bronze than try to tough it out in silver.

Because they are too bad to play silver/gold.

Heck, after i promoted my infil last night i want to level up abit. Joined silver, equipped my Valiant(no point in using the heavy ones in silver) and ended top.

Ofc this isnt true for every game etc, but there's plenty of terribad people around who will never go past bronze/silver.

You answered your own question. Its easy. I play bronze sometimes just to feel like a biotic god.

I do not know about you getting kicked though. Its probably for showing them up.

I'll usually jump into bronze w/ non maxed out characters (that would be better suited for silver/gold) if I've had a streak of bad groups in silver/gold and don't don't feel like messing with randoms anymore.

It's pretty obnoxious. Leveling one of my characters I promoted for the weekend, I'd forgotten how much of an idiotic free-for-all spamfest bronze is. And you just know these guys are like "who's awesome? I am!"

Can't wait to get back to gold where charging around like an idiot more often than not will get you killed...

"Terribad" really should be in the word filter.

Because it's fun?

*shrugs* Sometimes I'll do Bronze runs with high lvl characters if I'm just doing public because you never know what you'll get in your party, and with a high lvl character/class that you know well, Bronze is pretty easy to survive. Sometimes it's to help out someone you know on your friends list that is starting out a new character...
Usually it's just fun to pwn after working hard at Silver or Gold, and you just want to run around killing stuff!

Bronze is actually kind of frustrating because it's so easy.

I typically only use bronze to test out new builds, unfamiliar weapons, or a character class I haven't used yet. But it's also a nice break from all the challenge of playing with randoms on Gold

I play bronze when I am having problems with pain (damned joint disability) which slows down my reaction time (once played where I was totally zonked out on my morphine... was trippy). I normally play Silver though. So don't think everyone who is level 20 on bronze is a crap player.

But yeah, I've seen Silver being played with level 6 characters and they have cleaned house while bronze matches I have seen level 20 characters who have no clue whatsoever.

Pretty boring too. Last night I was having connection issues so I did a bronze run on my own. Ended up being on Reactor vs Geth. Full extraction, 10+ waves survived, 1 killstreak, and a variety of other medals. And that was just as a lvl 1 infiltrator.

I kept asking where all the Primes/Hunters/Pyros were. The map seemed empty compared to silver waves

I use it to test weapons and characters because I feel I can get away with most stuff there but its really a waste of time for money and exp. The rewards of the higher difficulties are better for the time you put in if you have the skill.

i play gold im lv 750 but i ran into a lv 1000 and beg me to switch to bronze because you get more points faster if you dont go down for 10 round and get a 3 kill streak in 15 minutes but i dont care about points i want my credits

Maybe they would like to try a build on a character they dont norm use that they lvled up using another character of that class without wasting time failing on silver+ if they are bad

Yeah, I have disability issues too. I usually play bronze to see if I can actually play the game at all before I try silver. I don't even bother with gold.

Yes! Waves are so short, and there are often not enough interesting/tough mobs to fight.

I don't know that I'm up for soloing bronze, but I feel like silver just has more stuff to do.

Multiple reasons.

Quick game for the last few credits.
Bashing faces in as a high level Krogan and being nigh unkillable in bronze.
Same as above except with <insert class/race here>
Just derping around trying a new build or weapon kit but didn't want to end up being too much of a liability in silver or gold.

and a few others but those are off the top of my head.

I grind typically when I have a bad character like the vanguard (honestly I do suck with him.) on bronze to make it a touch easier on me to say level 13 or so. Then I jump to silver to see if I have any luck. With characters like the adept, engineer, sentinel or infiltrator I have no problems rocking silver and gold.

I see more higher ranking N7/Charectors on the PC. It was odd when i just started with a level to find a Rank 700/level 20, Rank 100/level 17, Rank 500/level 20 in a bronze game. And yes they kicked my level 1 Engineer out of that bronze lobby

When I was starting, I was angry at the people with high levels playing bronze. They left nothing for me to do. It was really frustrating.

Now that all my characters are leveled up, I understand that under certain conditions one would really want or need to play bronze.

For example: trying weapons. I'm not jumping into a silver match with a weapon I don't understand.

I tend to actively kill less when I feel I'm playing with an overpowered character, though. I don't know if the other players notice. Finishing with a score that triples the second best makes me feel like a douchebag.

Sometimes its just fun to do an easy, no-thinking-involved match. Besides, if you say bronze is filled wiht high levels, I'll say that silver is PLAGUED by people who have no clue at all how to play the game.
