PAX was great this year. Great fans. Great bio crew. Left with some new ideas, a book of fan letters, and a marriage proposal (pending).

Excuses for the delayed release of The Book:

1) Resources.
2) Artistic integrity.
3) Space magic.
4) Indoctrination.
5) Speculation for everyone!

While we're still editing this thing, I'd like everyone's opinion. Where do we go from here? In the immediate future, we should ask for some feedback on OUR feedback, when The Book gets back to The Devs, but what then?

Another book of letters and fan-mail, perhaps on a larger scale? A basket of candy with LI-themed treats? Any awesome ideas out there? What would be the theme, the message? We accomplished so much in six days and very late nights, think about what we could do with a little more time and planning!

I definitly think we shouldn't stop here. We have to go forward and think of something else we can do to keep showing bioware how much these LIs are important to us. The more we make our voices herd, the more chances we will have more content for our Lis. The only question is what shall we do?
We have to stand strong and stand together, and we will provail

Well, we (Aryss & Nick also) want to do something a bit more creative than just buying things. For one, The Book Project cost upwards of $250.00, not counting gas. I suppose we could take donations if other projects require it, but we're not exactly the retake movement.

And for some reason, I doubt if we ventured far outside the ME3 Character and Romance Discussion forums, that we would have a welcome reception.

That's the spirit. We are not holding the line, they are doing it. And we will continue until we cross the line and get what our sidelined LI deserves.

BTW, I'm so kinda of bipolar. the 95% of the time I'm a pessimist who states that we won't get any more content regarding the sidelined characters. But there will be a lot of DLC of the blue mascot.

But I'm kind of stuck way in the middle of nowhere as far as shipping and supplies go, so most of what I can offer is moral support.

I'd love to contribute more too but my only gift is words and humor, I'd also like for my artistic 11 year old daughter to draw Thane. She can but it's getting her to do it. I asked her earlier and she said, "but whyyyyyy it's sad he dies, i might cry drawing it cos i will be thinkin of it." I should bribe her. Yeah, I'm going to start needling her on it tomorrow, she has the next week off from school. If she refuses, I'm taking her drumsticks away from her. LOL.

Now would be the time to really start putting something else into motion. I'm going with the "I love your stuff so much and still believe in you" route as I'm aware that the "I hate you and I'm never going to buy your stuff again" road is going to lead them to do nothing.

We have the Thane Fanbook being put together, perhaps a few dedicated Jack, Miri, Jacob, Samara, Tali-mancers wish to start up something similar.  They could get an idea of how the Thane book is coming together, and do something similar for their LI's of choice.  Art, FanFic, Poems, screenies........you get the idea.  Also continuing to get the link for the Petition, out there for people to sign.  Any other industry conventions coming up that BW may be attending?  Does PAX west (if they still have a PAX West) still show out of Seattle??  If yes, and it doesn't conflict with any big work project, I would consider heading up to it....again, if BW attended and it was in Seattle.

I like the idea of bracelets, or even ribbons. Green ribbons with 'Thane' on them.

White for Miranda, Red for Jack, Yellow for Jacob, etc.

Then we could send some to Bioware.

We could do another collaborative effort, though I'm not sure what would top the awesome book.

Whatever you decide to do, I'd love to contribute and I'd also donate money if it is needed. If I knew the book was going to be so expensive I would have sent some cash their way.

Tbh, I'd be happy to contribute for the book. That is expensive, but could quickly become cheap if some of us pitch in a little.
