I would be more than happy to donate to a cause to get them to fix this.

IDEA: Whoever can make bracelets, do that, and everyone can have one made for their favorite LI. Then, after we get the bracelets, we all take a picture with us wearing them and send a sort of photo album to BioWare as a visual demonstration of how many people there actually are who want this. It's easy to ignore something that has no faces put to it, but if they SEE us, they'll be hard-pressed to forget.

Just a thought I had. Feel free to discard it.

Why won't they come?!

If only The Book would hurry up and be ready for you guys, editing took longer than I had anticipated. And then there was connectivity issues....

We have the Thane Fanbook being put together, perhaps a few dedicated Jack, Miri, Jacob, Samara, Tali-mancers wish to start up something similar.  They could get an idea of how the Thane book is coming together, and do something similar for their LI's of choice.  Art, FanFic, Poems, screenies........you get the idea.  Also continuing to get the link for the Petition, out there for people to sign.  Any other industry conventions coming up that BW may be attending?  Does PAX west (if they still have a PAX West) still show out of Seattle??  If yes, and it doesn't conflict with any big work project, I would consider heading up to it....again, if BW attended and it was in Seattle.

I wasn't aware there was another seperate book in the works for Thane. Could someone point me in the direction of where I can find more info out on that? I'd love to contribute. 

The fanbook was great and with the community pulling together (and the amazing tireless efforts of Visii, Aryss, and Nick) it feels like it was a success. I'm excited to hear Bioware's thoughts on it. As far as something new...hmmm. Pictures are worth a thousand words (in some cases) so something art/photo themed might be nice. Perhaps a 'story' book? Every page could belong to a differnet person's Shepard. Each of those pages could feature art of some sort contributed by members of the community (art of their Shep and their LI) and might say something along the lines of "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my story.....something something great and awe inspiring" I dunno, I'm spitballing here.

If we wanted to get away from art maybe we could do something like the LI themed bracelets or t-shirts or something wearable and send Bioware a book/collage/something filled with pictures of us wearing the items along with the message that we would like more content featuring them. The pictures would only have to show whatever the worn themed item is (like just hand and arm for a bracelet) so people wouldn't have to show their face or whole body if that made them uncomfortable.

Like I said I'm just talking, perhaps it may give someone else a better idea to build from.

More books would just be love

The idea for the Thane Fanbook came uo about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I am collecting art, screenies, fanfictions, letters - whatever people want to contribute and bring it up in one selfmade book. We already have about 90-100 pages but since this should be really huge I am happy if anyone could contribute something Thane related Well I am also thinking of doing some last pages like: this one represents also the poor treatment of the other LIs or whatever (still in progress). I think with this great PAX letter book and all the pressure right now it would be great if they receive something new soon. I am collecting all the things until April 30th and send it in the beginning or mid may (belongs to how long it takes to put everything together) to Bioware. If you want to have a look at the pages design or whatever feel free to look at the group RShara posted (or the link in my signature) Would be great if people spread the word about this thing. My freetime is only Fanbook time since a few weeks, and since editing, talking to the people who already contributed and making the binding takes my time it is just difficult for me to spread the word active, but I try to

Thanks Rshara and Yamainu! I joined the group and posted a picture to the contributions thread. I also added my name info to the "Be with us" thread just so you have it to go along with my picture if you wish to use it (which I would love). I am also awaiting approval to join the fanbook group on DA (Visii sent me the link for it). I'll probably work on another picture and hopefully can get it finished if you accept more than one piece from contributors.
If you need anything else for the Thane fanbook I'd be happy to help. I loved contributing to the LI fanbook and am excited to do things for the Thane one as well!

I'm new at this forum and when I found all the threads and posts about Thane and the other LIs saying exactly what I thought when I played the game... so many people talking about it, a book given to the Bioware guys!! OMG!! We can actually make it possible

In case of "The Book" there will be (in my opinion) nothing new till tuesday/wednesday (the earliest)...

Getting back from pax, reading it...maybe some first brainstorming at the office etc...

That would be wonderful!!!  

As for my poor little girl, LOL, I haven't forced her or she would have done it last year when I realized how good she was for her age.  I get so many pics from her that are "Mom and Me" irritates her sister because she leaves her out of them, I think it's just to dig at her.  Even the ones her art teacher makes her do are so well done and I know she doesn't care about drawing buildings, trees, or nature.  She likes people and animals.  Back on Christmas break she drew this shark and it was wonderful, then I walked in and she was changing it.  She had the shark eating her sister's father.  D'oh, I told her that wasn't very nice and it would hurt her sister's feelings.

But don´t get your hopes up too high...i think the most we could get out of this at first ist something like:

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I would LOVE to have someone do a cartoon for me! If I had any semblence of artistic ability, I would totally have drawn an entire comic collection JUST about Thane and how much I adore him. You're so lucky you can draw and not have it come out looking like stick figures.

This don´t have to be a bad thing though...  But i can´t see them telling us: We will definetly make a LI DLC...
if they (really) take it into consideration then we have accomplished the first major step...
They told us, they wanted passionate but constructive criticism and that is what they got from us... they said that dlc´s will provide what the fans want to see... we told em what we want to see...

If we don´t stop now and are willing to go further and prove time after time just how passionate we really are...then, who knows, it might happen one day...

I did the layout for Thane's fanbook, if anyone wants a layout for the other LI's I can easily wip something up.

@ Cosmo, that would be cool if any other LI fans are onboard that would be awesome!
