Don't forget the Thane Fanbook project. It'd be cool if someone did a Fanbook for each of the LI's :)

I did the layout for Thane's fanbook, if anyone wants a layout for the other LI's I can easily wip something up.

@ Cosmo, that would be cool if any other LI fans are onboard that would be awesome!

Just throwing out a thought here, it may be easier and more interactive if we encourage people to make their own bracelets. It would be more creative, personal, and visually more interesting to look at. So when someone is looking at these pics, they are not getting the same thing over and over again.

I can design different size bracelet patterns for those who may not be all that artistic. They can design or write whatever they like and cut it out or use it as a pattern to cut their bracelet out of something else.

People can sendme their photos of them wearing the bracelet and I can place into a digital photo album.. along with a small personal message from each person.

it would be cool to have something similar on each bracelet too i think, a way to tie us all together (besides our LI theme) like a bead or something? maybe?

I'd love to contribute more too but my only gift is words and humor, I'd also like for my artistic 11 year old daughter to draw Thane. She can but it's getting her to do it. I asked her earlier and she said, "but whyyyyyy it's sad he dies, i might cry drawing it cos i will be thinkin of it." I should bribe her. Yeah, I'm going to start needling her on it tomorrow, she has the next week off from school. If she refuses, I'm taking her drumsticks away from her. LOL.

Now would be the time to really start putting something else into motion. I'm going with the "I love your stuff so much and still believe in you" route as I'm aware that the "I hate you and I'm never going to buy your stuff again" road is going to lead them to do nothing.

if you like something to be drawn up for you, i can do it. i'm a cartoonist, not a realism artist though. but it would save you the trouble getting your daughter to draw Thane for you. when i was young, my mother tried getting me to draw things... but it needs to come from the heart. do ya understand what i mean?

That would be wonderful!!!

As for my poor little girl, LOL, I haven't forced her or she would have done it last year when I realized how good she was for her age.  I get so many pics from her that are "Mom and Me" irritates her sister because she leaves her out of them, I think it's just to dig at her.  Even the ones her art teacher makes her do are so well done and I know she doesn't care about drawing buildings, trees, or nature.  She likes people and animals.  Back on Christmas break she drew this shark and it was wonderful, then I walked in and she was changing it.  She had the shark eating her sister's father.  D'oh, I told her that wasn't very nice and it would hurt her sister's feelings.

Cool, just let me know what you would like done. :)

Oh wow, that is most wonderful that she is very artistic. Having a gift goes a long way, especially for the future.

Although I have to admit I am guilty of drawing or leaving out my brother when I was young. Oh how I liked to get under his skin. Ah, what I am saying... I still do it. lol. It's more playful now though... I draw me, my cat, my mom and then there is my bro getting chased down by vikings.

@Yermoqi: I'll draw something for ya too, just let me know :)

i actually like that idea. to tie of us all together. i'm just throwing out a quick thought, but it can be something as simple as having to apply a red heart. i have to sit back and brain storm on this.

Aftermath Update

We gathered 130 letters and art of the LI's from fans all over the world over the course of six days and turned it into a 200 page book. We presented it to the BioWare team at PAX, and they have promised to go through it.

Now, a digital edition of The Book, the very same book that is in the DEV's hands, can be yours.

http://k003.kiwi6.co...q2/the_book.pdf

Alternatively, http://kiwi6.com/file/0f67f2raq2.

Thanks for the support everyone! Keep up the questions about the LI's on Twitter and Facebook! Keep up the questions about The Book until we get some feedback on our feedback! And hang around, 'cause we're not done just yet!

PDF's are universally friendly to computers. You'll be able to read it just fine.

I meant the links you provided. I need a windows machine to download from them -- or so it says on-site.

I have a problem with this if it is truly the version the devs have.

1.  I updated my letter via PM (you acknowledged it) but in the pdf it's still the first version.

2.  Three letters are missing.  From Yannkee, Dr Doctor and jdoylelcsw.  I PM'd you about that ahead of time and you acknoledged them all.  Yet none of the letters are in the pdf.

Why did I got through all that trouble to get them (or point out the ones you missed before) when they aren't included?

It would seem that at least two other letters were not updated. Mine wasn't, despite acknowledgement.

I think also at least one other was not included.

My letter was not updated, it still was the early version where I sounded a little angry. I specifically posted the later version here and PMed you about it because I didn't want that early version to be in the book.

:(

@Vertigo_1, Did you look through the entire book? Some names didn't make it onto the contributor list, but should be in the book. The Book is organized by character, depending on the content of those letters, they might be in a section you hadn't anticipated. I'm sorry about your updated letter. There was only three of us working on this, and I was receiving all the letters and this thing picked up really quickly and I wasn't as organized as I could have been.

@Flemm, also sorry. I wasn't as organized as I could have been, this thing was a whirlwind of late nights.

@ Vertigo_1 & Flemm & Ieldra:  At the very least, Miranda fans made a very strong showing, so it isn't as if she was under-represented, and your original letters were still spell-checked.

Yeah I checked every part...I also checked at the end of each for their names...no Yannkee no Dr Doctor (Chris) and no jdoylelcsw (and it has also come to my attention you missed MisterJB too)

Why didn't you mention this before?
It's only now that we call this out do we get an apology...

okay, i´m sorry if i sound rude now.... i really (really) can see that you are disappointed...
But Visii and co. made an exceptional job in such a short time... And i think it would be more then unfair if you attack her for not doing everything picture perfect...
They were not paid for doing it (the exact opposit is the truth)...

So, feeling disappointed - yes, i can understand this
attacking Visii and co. - definetly a no go for their efford they put into this

Artistic integrity.

We thought we had gotten everyone's letters. We thought we'd included everyone's revisions, which is why I didn't mention anything. I was mistaken and I'm sorry.

If we had more time and resources before PAX well... we'll be more careful in future projects.
