Although I sympathize all of you for the poor treatment of your romances and glad things are being done about it, please don't go into the whole "they're catering to the gay community." The only ones which give Paramour in ME3 is Kaidan/Garrus and Traynor/Liara. That's 50/50 and a good amount considering BioWare is one of the only companies to bring out S-S romances.

Anyway, back to the topic. Congrats, guys! I romanced Garrus on one of my Sheps and thankful he got decent dialogue although nothing is anywhere near Liara's amount. I really pity those with Thane and Jacob romances. But your voices were heard, and that's a very good thing. :D

We would never suggest such a thing. Many of us are perfectly fine with homosexual romantic options and think they enrich the story. What we are not fine with is them throwing out old LIs in favor of new/revamped ones. We just want equality between them all.

You know better than to place me in that camp.  :P

Thanks, though.  I'm hoping they do listen.  Unfortunately, any indication of that could take months.

There's four choices for girls and femShep, assuming you carried over your Kellymance.

Speaking of which... Kind of sad Kelly didn't get more love. Come on, the captain and the adorable secretary/ship's therapist has to appeal to more people!

What are you talking about? Not one person here ever said that.
All we wanted was for the LI's to get equal treatment, and the one's from ME2 got anything but equal treatment.

Hehe,
@Hadeedak and SilentNukee
if i had a (magical)wish, i would make everyone a possible romance for erverybody male or female... and they all would be on par and as "big" as Liara...

But we have to be (some kind of) realistic and on this part we go (mostly) with the one we care most about...
and till now i have not seen anybody in here or "The Book" that has said something negativ about s-s relationships :o;)

Thank you for your support (thanemancer here) I am very happy that BW cater for LGBT community, and would not wish them to change that :D

Visii, I wanted to say Thank You for giving my letter such a beautiful font in the book, and even making MY letter the first one in the Thane section? I really am so happy with it all. It's so beautiful, and looks so wonderful, and it's all thanks to you and Nick and Aryss. You three are wonderful. Thank you, thank you so, so, so much. <3

Yeah I was just going to say, I found it but it cuts off right after my list of Miranda grievances (cutting off my suggestions for it and the entire Kasumi content). Just want to confirm that didn't happen in the submitted physical copy or further digital submissions? Basically Bioware will get it in its entirety?

just wanted  to say that the rest of your letter is at the beginning of the book (page 11 I think) ;)
of the pdf file that is

Would we be allowed to submit a letter before the midnight deadline if we did not previously submit one? Like if its a brand new letter that we weren't able to submit for the first book, instead of an edited or accidentally left out version? :)

I'm a little ashamed to see people attacking Visii. Considering how late a lot of people left it, I think they did a mighty fine job. Understandably, things like revisions kinda lost priority. That sort of stuff is more the writer's responsibility anyway.

I know it might be frustrating not seeing your letter in there, but think about the cost and time to the people organising this. And they still haven't lost faith in it. Cut them some slack.

Anyway, that aside, their effort has opened up a nice line of communication with the developers, specifically some of the writing staff.

If they were so inclined they could always let them know that they have plenty more letters from devoted fans and could ask if they'd be willing for another collection to be sent as a PDF or whichever format.

Is there a size limit? I think I'm done, but it's four pages long.
And if anyone would mind reading over mine? It's about Thane, though I do have a blurb for Jacob, Samara, and Jack.

No size limit at all. Send it to me, I'll read it over.

Did anyone talk to Chris? I remember reading a quote from either him or someone else, where they were asked about multiplayer needed for the Shepard Lives clip.

Wow, Patrick Weekes wants a PDF copy? That is awesome news! And the tweets from Bioware staff mentioning the book is really getting my hopes up.
Visii, Aryss, and Nick get major kudos and respect for getting this off the ground and completed in such a small time frame using their own money to do so to boot. Hopefully the PDF version going to Weekes with updated or missed letters shows that it was obviously not intentional that some letters/art were missed. It's apparent that Visii and co. put A LOT of work into this, I'm confident they would NEVER have forgotten to include someone's content on purpose. Accidents happen, especially under such rushed and chaotic circumstances. The old and new letters will be seen by Weekes and that is awesome. I can't wait to hear about more developments!

It is becoming readily apparent to me that, the hardcover version of The Book is more "complete" than the PDF version everyone has right now.

We have all the letters and revisions that were sent. I've talked with Aryss and Nick regarding several peoples letters that they have PM'd me about. While their letters aren't in the first version of the book, most are definitely in the hard cover version of the book. In the process of creating the PDF, some letters must have gotten misplaced.

So we'll do our best to make sure everything is in second version of the book, the version that is being emailed to EvilChis, Patrick Weekes, and others.

In other news, Mike Gamble said on Twitter that he would talk to Casey Hudson about the book, tomorrow. So you know what everyone should on on Monday?
