If you had to choose between the multiplayer mode or a more fleshed out singpleplayer mode, what would you choose?

Single Player. Only reason I touched MP was to get readiness up. It was strictly a means to an end and one I couldve done without.

Same, and at that I've only ever done like 1 or 2 rounds of MP. I'm just using the iPhone app to increase my readiness while I play.

Yeah, thanks. Got that covered.

Although I like the multiplayer, I have to go with Singleplayer.

I would trade multiplayer for more SP content.

I do enjoy MP. But to be honest, could have been an optional DLC.

Single player all the way. ME's been a SP series up till now, I can honestly say I would not have missed MP if it had not been put into this one. Extra hub worlds please! :)

Single player, multiplayer should never have been anywhere near a Mass Effect game.

Considering that this game is an RPG with a company that (used) to be devoted to the story-telling of video games, I would choose single player. I don't think Bioware displayed their true potential in ME3, but considering the 'art' of the ending I am doubtful.

SP, personally. The next ME game could have been partly (or hell, mostly) MP. And probably will be anyway. So they could have left the original trilogy as a purely singleplayer experience and spent those MP resources on, ooh, more exploration, more sidequests and an ending that made sense? Ah, if only.

Thats not even a question. The MP is fine but thats not the reason i play ME games. Of course i want the single player to be as good as possible. There are other games ( and far better games i might add ) for multiplayer purposes.

depends on the game series.
assassins creed and mass effect shouldve stayed singleplayer only , IMO

Fix for the SP game. The game completely fixed like all the bug issues and the s/s romance scenes for femshep fixed. The endings majorly redone like we were promised to have when the game actually launched.

I could care less about the MP part of the game.

SP. MP was such an odd edition to ME. Not necessarily bad, but given the quality of SP and the ENDING... Yes. I would sacrifice MP for a better SP.

If it came down to it, I'd prefer more time and resources to be spent on the single-player.

I would have sacrificed multiplayer mode without even one single thought for its defense if that meant more and better fleshed out side missions.

The multiplayer is an amusing time-waster, but TBH is entirely unnecessary.

There are numerous shooter games with multiplayer that do it better than ME3. If I wanted to shoot stuff with my friends, I'd have gone with Gears of War or Halo or CoD or something. If MP in ME3 didn't help increase readiness, I would not have touched it at all.

Mass Effect was perfect without multiplayer, so it never really need it. I don't have a problem with mp, but if no mp means better singleplayer campaign, yes no mp please.

Single player should have been the focus. It was the appeal of the franchise. The multiplayer is the additional content. Multiplayer is dependent on the sustained interest of single player. As much as people are playing Assassin's Creed or Uncharted online, the single player stories had to sustain a better quality or else it damages the franchise.

Single Player should always be the focus of Mass Effect games, but I had no real nitpicks about the single player outside of the journal.

I would prefer to keep the multiplayer mostly because I love the fact that we actually get to play AS THE ALIENS. That just blows me away right there.

what does that have to do with the topic? Trading multiplayer for singleplayer game time wouldnt have changed the ending.

Single player for sure. Multiplayer's fine, I've had fun the few times I've done it, but if it's a question of one or the other, deeeeeeeeeeeeefinitely focus on single player.

A better question would be: do you actually think removing MP from ME3 will make it a better game?
