If you had to choose between the multiplayer mode or a more fleshed out singpleplayer mode, what would you choose?

Single Player all the way. Multiplayer games come and go, get harder to find people still playing it, servers close etc. But with the singleplayer its a great story, like a good book or moive you can always go back and enjoy it again again.

Single player no doubt. This whole series is based on it. If I wanted a MP game I'd still be playing COD

SP. I am not one those MP bashers, I love MP, but the fact that the side missions sucked and there was so many autodialogue made me wish that Bioware solely focused on SP.

A better question would be: do you actually think removing MP from ME3 will make it a better game?
...if it meant more resources would be devoted to the SP mode?
Yes.

Single Player. I was surprised at the quality of the MP, but RPGs are supposed to be single-player experiences and ME is supposed to be Single Player.
Somehow I have a feeling EA was involved in multiplayer even existing as another method of disincentivizing used-game buying.

Yep. For the most part I made my husband do it actually...gooberfish311 wrote...
Single Player. Only reason I touched MP was to get readiness up. It was strictly a means to an end and one I couldve done without.

Single player for sure. I can live without multiplayer.

single player as only played multiplayer for readiness and got pretty boring. wheras replaying the single player with more hub worlds, mako, hammerhead missions would be more interesting to me.

Fleshed out single player, no question.

While I do love the multiplayer, I would have to say Single player.
I have other games for multiplayer, and Mass Effect is one of my favorite Single player games.

I enjoy the MP, but I would have taken a higher content SP campaign without a second thought.

How about both, but a later release date?

Single-player all day. That's what Mass Effect/Bioware is all about. If i really wanted to play multiplayer i have call of duty

Single player.

For BioWare, multiplayer because it makes them more money and makes the game last much longer. For me, hands down the single player. Multiplayer isn't why most people bought this game, and it isn't why most people are upset. But alas, the the crux of the issue what the developer and stockholders want and what we consumers want.

I would have gladly waited until Q4 2012 just for an ending that is not [EXPLETIVE DELETED].

Single of course. I'm surprised that I like ME3 multiplayer but I would've gladly traded it for more singleplayer content and better endings.

I love multiplayer, I think it's great and entertaining. And I would toss it in a garbage heap in a second if I could a coherant resolution to the series instead.

The single player was the point of the entire series. Not one other entry offered multiplayer of any kind. To suddenly slap it on the end at the cost of the single player campaign is a poor attempt to expand the audience in a blatant money grab by EA. I'm not surprised it happened. I am surprised there was no deathmatch mode, as that would have brought it even more players, and there are plenty of ways of making it fit in the theme of the universe, or whatever crap reason was used to justify only horde mode. Thought EA would have had that kind of influence over their companies, but I digress.
The single player had basic import bugs. Parts of the story--Gabby and Kenneth's romance, for example--are supposed to happen automatically, but are somehow tied to having Ashley on board due to a glitch. These are things that should have been noticed and corrected before release, but probably never will. Though you can almost guarantee that multiplayer will continue to receive new tweaks and updates to be balance out.

I choose single player. Mass Effect is a personal experience. Multiplayer should only enhance not over shadow the singleplayer.

Multiplayer.
Oh sure, we have hundreds of other games with horde mode, but why the f**k not right?
