If you had to choose between the multiplayer mode or a more fleshed out singpleplayer mode, what would you choose?

Multiplayer in shooters is always waaaaaaaay to repetitive for me. I honestly don't get how anyone can enjoy it. It's the same thing over, and over, and over. I'd rather go out or read a book or do just about anything else than participate in online free for all, horde mode, capture the flag, etc.

Single player all the way. I didn't buy Mass Effect for the multi-player experience. I have a friend who really enjoys it, but I'm not willing to pay for an XBox Gold membership to join him.

This.
Still playing ME on the 360, and not willing to pay for Live Gold.

And even if I had a gold membership, ME is a single player game so the content should be there.

More single player content. If they wanted to make a MP spin off then great, those that enjoy it can buy that. ME3 needs more attention to its singleplayer.

Just like with Dead Space 2. Why on earth did it have multiplayer...

Cut out MP all together if it helps expand SP. Mass Effect has and was to remain a SP game, except EA thought it could widen the fanbase.

Single player all the way. I'm not against them adding multi player as an addition but if I wanted to play a multi player FPS, I'd buy one that was focused on it.

Single-player all along.

Despite the MP being better than I expected, I bought the game because I loved the single-player-qualities of ME.

I bought this game for a rich single-player experience and despite all the hard work put into it, I trusted BioWare to deliver more.

Multiplayer would have been a great idea for upcoming games, but ME3...I wanted to see how Shepard's story ends in an epic and fullfilling conclusion, not repetitive coop with four players.

That's not even a question. Singleplayer.

All the resources they pissed away on multiplayer could been used to fix most(if not all) of the issues with the singleplayer campaign.

Alas, we'll never know.

Single player without a doubt. There are plenty of other MP options (some even from BW) if people want MP. No need to dilute/pollute all the SP offerings with MP just because they can.

I would cut multiplayer for anything that improved single player. Even codex entries and ambient dialogue.

Almost every game has multiplayer these days and since people buy Mass Effect for the story if they put a lot more effort into it i think it would have been a lot better.

The series is a single player TPS/RPG. I doubt many of us bought it specifically because it offered a new multiplayer mode.

So more single player content. Really, ME3 should have remained completely single player and gotten rid of that idiotic EMS system which has so far seemed to just confuse people.

Sadly, the multiplayer is the best part of ME3...

This 100%.

Singleplayer of course. They could have used all those resources and man hours on main story and what we have gotten in the end could have been way better. I mean look at that journal...

I would trade multiplayer for single player in a heartbeat. While the mp itself was ok standalone it never felt quite right in me3. The story always was the main selling point of mass effect not its combat mechanics or its take on multiplayer.

No they couldn't.

Again, I think people dont understand how budgeting for a tripleA game works...

Each department is given a set amount of cash at the beginning but they are INDEPENDENT of each other. If Voice acting needs more money, they can't simply walk over to level design and pinch their budget EVEN if level design is 50% under budget.

The director in charge of Voice-over would have to go to the overall budget director who would have to request more money from EA JUST for voice-acting (and of course, EA will want to know why said budget was not sufficient)

Sure, for smaller indy games, there's just one budget where all the money is simply taken from as needed but for AAA titles? No.

You kidding? Multiplayer that you can't even play without paying for xbox live, and even then there's still no co-op? I'll go with solo thank you very much.

I could live without multiplayer in this game period.
I only played it because it was a quick way to get EMS up. Now that I've seen the underwheming best ending there is no need to obsesse over EMS anymore. I don't care for the asset hunting mini game either.

I would get rid of the multiplayer in a heartbeat.  No-brainer.  Single player always comes first to me.

Oh ok. Didn't know how a big video game company works.

But surely they could have used what they spent on MP for something better. I like MP but I could have totally been fine without it.
