You meant ME2, not 3, didn't you? Eezo is cheap and easy to get, especially if you're replaying, so what you really should be doing is respecing constantly.

I favor stasis the most. It works through shields and doubles your damage output when they ragdoll afterwards. Stasis, let it wear off as you move in close, pour your entire clip into them, stasis again. The biggest enemies shouldn't need more than 3 SMG clips or so, even on insanity. Give it one point, and ignore it until you have enough to get the evolution that reduces how quickly enemies build up resistance to it.

Since stasis is only useful against a single target, and certain targets are immune (*cough* harbinger *cough*). For husk missions I would switch to area reave - plant a singularity to stagger the husks into a giant group, area reave to strip all their armor, lots of dead husks. For missions with more harbinger than husks (suicide mission, for example), I would go either barrier or warp ammo, depending on whether you want faster damage output or a panic button (personally, I say go panic button).

Energy Drain is the best and fills what the Adept needs most, if you want an all round balanced Adept.
Otherwise Stasis, reave is okay too.
