 So i have the collectors edition of Mass Effect 3 for ps3. and I just can't help but make my own post on the horrible game crashes/freezing problems.the game crashes at random on single player and also crashes on the multi-player portion of the game as well.a patch is really needed to fix these problems since I don't know how many times now I've had to hard reset my ps3 with ME3 please Bioware fix these problems A.S.A.P. I spent 80 Bucks on this game and can't play it.:(:(:(

I'm playing on a ps3 slim 320gb system.
ME3=collectors edition

yes it is buggy, "black screen" particularly on the citadel when visiting the refugee docks - related to aria's mission - (hope they fix it soon).

You know if there was a sticky, maybe these sorts of posts would stop. Like problem #1 had been fixed and will be included in the next patch. Or problem #2 were aware of and will be fixed after the next patch... But no. No sticky.

Why do we have to sit in this shroud without an inkling of hope? I'm afraid of the dark. :( and I certainly dont like being left there. Make a damn announcement at least.

Suggested that here.

Not going to happen ...

I know it was. I read it. And thier reasoning is weak. It should be done. Sooner than later. I'm going to keep mentioning it until the plethora of bugs are fixed or the sticky is made. Frankly, if ea tech support sends people here and there is no central thread, these sort of threads won't stop. And the vast majority get no response or if they do it's vague. It really isn't hard to do. There is no excuse to prove otherwise.

Ok reading the post again just made me rage a little. Here it is again:

"The problem with making and maintaining a list of things we are investigating/working on is this changes day to day and the list is extremely large and requires coordination from every single group (including those at other locations). "

This is weak. We don't want a list of changes being made. We want a list of issues that are being resolved that have been the same issues posted over and over again. Fps. Freezing. Citadel blacking/missions. That's a whopping 4. And those 4 alone address the majority of complaints. Heck, let's make it "large" and add a fifth! How bold! Achievement resets? That's five. Now let's debunk some more of this weak excuse:
"This would be extremely hard to coordinate and would take a lot of time away from working on these issues. "
Do you guys still use snail mail? Because email takes about 10 seconds. Copy. Paste. Wallah. Resolve hundreds of angry consumers wanting an answer. Next up:
"Although ideally I can agree that it would be a good idea it just isn't reasonable at this time with how much content we're working on."
LOL. Like Dlc endings? This excuse isn't even veiled well. The consumer base the sticky would address is not concerned with new/other content being worked on. We are concerned with getting fixes for what we got.

When you have EA sending customers here. The LEAST thing they could do is make a sticky. I should go far as to say it should be expected. Bethesda did in light of ps3 issues. Most practice this with forums to keep their consumers out of the dark and enlightened about issues. But no. These posts will keep rolling in, fans will be frustrated and probably move on.

By all means harass them until we get some info.

I can't be bothered anymore... Might as well write something on a random wall nearby - equal chance for an answer...

And no, it's not hard to do (sticky). Quite the opposite.

@bestly

Also I dont mean to attack you or any official poster. I just feel that getting proper support for a product is important. I just don't see the reasoning behind -not- having a sticky. It is driving a wedge between consumers and bioware. EVERYONE who I play with online has experienced these crashes and freezes. But few will join the forums and would rather play something else. These posts are a sign of a much larger issue that effects more than a "few." I would love to tell them these are being addressed and a fix is soon. But there is no central index we can use. No sticky or knowledge base. No wiki. Nothing.

Never felt attacked and I definitely understand the frustration.

These posts are everywhere, and frankly, they need to be. I am beyond frustrated going into angry.

Yeah I wish someone at Bioware would just get on here and give us Consumers some kind of update on patch notes or fixes,But that's like asking a whale to walk on land which won't happen.however I do know that Bioware is really good at fixing bugs since they do allot of testing on patches.but seems like xbox360 is getting more attention then the ps3 community and that feels pretty bad.is my hardware not important also Bioware?.....I still have faith in Bioware since I'm sure they are working their butts off trying to fix allot of problems but some kind of update would be very nice,so at least we aren't in the dark feeling cold and lonely.

LOL hey at least we wont have to switch discs everytime we do side missions in me3 after we do get an update that fixes the game.I know on xbox 360 they have to switch discs like every side mission.

ohh and I also get those game crashes on loading screen with a black screen really weird.
