I am not a girl... however the guys who I usually talk to can get reaaallly annoying the one girl I played with was fun however she spent half the match running around invisible not killing anything
No girls in multiplayer?

I'm a girl and I play Multiplayer. I've got one friend who is as well a girl and we met via multiplayer. Maybe it's just considence but I don't think very many girls player multiplayer in Mass Effect. I could be wrong and just haven't played with very many girls. But whenever I do play with randoms, they're mostly guys and they're sometimes shocked when they hear me speak. I've even had one guy tell me that he thought it was weird that I played video games. Now I'm not trying to brag about my gaming, I know I'm not the best gamer out there, but I've seemed to impress a lot of guys that I've played with. Not sure if that's cause I'm a girl or because I'm actually good at the game.
I also had another guy tell me that he thought it was weird that I loved to snipe. His words were, "GIrls don't usually like the sniper rifles and usually just carry an SMG, pistol or assualt rifle." I'm not sure if that's true but I LOVE my sniper class. I don't have anything agaisnt other gun types but the sniper rifle is ... amazing. The Mantis is one of my favorites but the M-98 Widow owns my heart.

Good for you! Although, I'm no longer shocked by girls playing video games. I got my sister into gaming, and now I am getting my 9 year old daughter into gaming.
I've also run into a lot of female gamers in other games... so it's just normal in my opinion.
What I am still shocked at is the rampant sexism, and crudeness that female gamers have to put up with. Honestly, you girl gamers have my respect because of the bull**** you have to put up with...
