So few people use the mics (on Xbox, anyway) that you really can't tell their gender anyway.  You've probably played with a few and haven't noticed.

Girls who use their headsets. I think the mics are an invaluable tool.

There is at least one other thread like this, but it rapidly descended into a pit of desperation, unlikely romance, and more desperation. I initially just assumed this was a joke thread based on that one. Also, even i have to admit, an all female squad sounds pretty badass.
How do you people break the ice in random matches, if at all? i tend to say phantom! once a game, only to be greeted with silence. I also have a cheap chinese mic,and secretly wonder if it makes my voice sound weird. Maybe that's why nobody will talk with me...

Not true for Mass Effect 3,  I haven't played with any kids at all ever, and all of the guys have been 20+ and worked together.

I usually play pubs with some of my friends, and we have a Mumble server already, so I don't really see the need to use my mic in multiplayer. I usually just try for more situational awareness and cover my teammates more to make up for the lack of info.

I don't think I have ever played with a female gamer before ever... I have added female friends but... never played with them (irony right? we never had any same games and we don't talk...) I have more gay gamers on my friend list... and the only thing that sucks with them... is they aren't on when you need them to be on xD (So much fun to play with!) but ya, if you can deal with very interesting conversations and entertaining times... I would love to add you!

I've heard women using mics. Honestly, they were just as annoying as the men using mics, but that may be because I play on the xbox and it seems that most people online try their hardest to be as annoying as possible..
