I wouldn't mind playing with anyone, I am a male, but I've been friends with a bunch of girls who game, I honestly don't mind, my gamertag is the same as my name on here, but guys on xbl are typically jerks towards girls, I only am if I think they're a little kid, so I apologize for that if I've ever done it to any of you

Some folks just cannot accept the fact that a woman can be as good or even better at "traditionally male activity" than they are.

None of my friends hopped on the ME3 bandwagon due to the ending hatetrain, so I'm playing with people that never talk, yet - always manage to snipe that phantom sneaking up behind me at the nick of time. Say what you will, but PC gamers have some funky PC voodoo.

So all of that to say: I have no idea what the general demographic is on the PC. Not sure if it's more comforting to know this also happens on the ecksbawks. Let's be the icebreakers in our matches, damn it! Seriously, the people that do quick matches can't be that scary, right?

The only time I hear someone speaking is:

1. Doesn't use push to talk, you hear everything going on in the background
2. Cursing in native tongue when things go awkward. I played with some slavic dude who flipped the hell out every time he hit the ground.

And, you're pointing out a false dichotomy here (either the wage gap is a myth or employers are all stupid is a false dichotomy, also known as an either/or fallacy). Furthermore, you're using outright falsities as "proof" --recent studies show that women ARE working more hours than men and usually for less. However, women are actually less likely to COMPLAIN about not being compensated enough compared with men.

Again, if you want to argue this subject, please take it to PMs. If you want to rail against studies and hold onto mysoginist beliefs, be my guest. That said, again, if you want to argue this please take it to PMs.

Now back to topic: yes, there are more girls playing multiplayer than you think.

Thats the problem really. Some players (in any game) will totally disregard a good player just to have a female on their team. It really is quite sad. I do live streaming on twitch and it's exactly the same as players on a game. Some (not all) live streamers that have girls playing are really not as good as some of the guys who stream but the poor guys get no veiwers becasue everyone goes to the female streams and is like "omg it's a gurl gamerz!" 24/7.

I play with both females and males and make no favortism towards one gender or the other. I have no desire to be part of the silly online gaming relationship flirting crap or w/e ppl like that do who horde over other female gamers. I play games to play. I think it's fair to say for the true and honest female gamers out there who just want to play games and not boot up their pc / comsole and deal with a wannabe online dating service they need a break. I swear it feels like that online sometimes.

It's one of the main reasons I do not use a mic unless I am with friends in party chat.

Smart coworker and yes, arguing with feminists is like arguing with a brick wall. It's not really off topic, after all, this thread IS about female entitlement. Wouldn't most people just want good players to play with rather than a specific gender? Why even bother specifying gender preference?
