I'm a JRPG and Anime fan and these endings are trash, I cant stand these endings. So While I don't agree with Dragonlordz lets cease with gross generalization of a gerne that has tons of stories the end in many different ways based on the narratives present. Not some whim of a writer trying to be "Artsy" and running a ego trip to try and mark his mark.... by copy and pasting another game.

So it's a broken something, an ad-hoc, slap-dash example of pseudo-intellectual skullduggery; a mishmash of thoughtless, shallow desires for immortality guided in no way whatsoever by anything even slightly kin to forethought.
It is plauge.
It is a farce.
It is a blight upon the face of creation like a class five zit emerging, pulsing, and oozing two hours hours before your big date.
Broken just doesn't cover it.
Hey, I got to use 'skullduggery'!
Sweeeeeeeeet.

It is not broken, a disc snapped in half is broken, corrupted data is broken, glitch or bug that prevents you physically reaching the end of the game due to code error is broken. Your dislike of how they ended it is not "broken", if you can reach the end of the game the product "works" as intended.
Pretty much this. Just because you don't like it and/or don't understand the endings, doesn't mean their broken. They're just fine, maybe some of you should play through again and actually listen to what the dialogue is.
Just a thought. Cause, you know.. sometimes you learn stuff the more you play it. Because when you first start playing it, you're too excited because it's new. You miss stuff.
Dude ive done this game 5 times. The endings are broken. The little kid spouts the same crap no matter what. And i get the same ending with different colors no matter what.

Another JRPG fan, and I really dislike the ME3 ending. Many, many JRPGs have vague endings, or silly nosensical endings, but it generally fits with the rest of the game (part of why I didn't mind FFXIII). Usually the important issues are dealt with through the dialog and the rest is just set piece for gameplay, grinding, and collecting. There are also some JRPGs that have legitimately excelent and compelling stories. This is neither, it's an excelent story that's more immersive than anything I've played, then capped off with a bad piece of fan fiction. Anyone with even the lightest literary experience should be able to recognise it as shoddy writing, and completely contrary to the rest of the writing in the game (which isn't perfect, but definitely up there for the genre).Therefore_I_Am wrote...

The best part is someone telling us that you just have to play the ending several times to get it....no..just...no....it gets worse the more you see it.
