i was just re watching them on youtube. it may have been presented on here but the arrival dlc and mass relay explosions are not the same.

yes it still annoying about star child but to me if and only if we are meant to take the endings at face value then the explosion would not wipe out the systems. what were actually seeing is the shock wave pulse started at the citadel that will either Destroy/ control and synthesys the galaxy but not wipe the systems out.

the arrival dlc explosion shows the element zero expanding out so of course this would destroy the systems, but e3 ending is a changed shockwave that is not pure element zero but a changed substance.

i just wanna put this out there, i am above all else gonna say im right and your wrong, its just a thought ive had.

one other thing i think would be fitting is that the mass relays should be destroyed if only you choose the destroy ending as i would like to think the reapers and mass relays are symbotic and perhaps the other 2 endings should only send the pulse out and not have the relays destroyed. plus if it was TIM who is indoctrinated at the end shows he learnt the choices and so it bypasses the whole starchild event i think this would have given better weight to the endings. im not gonna go into the whole joker SR2 issue cause that is big plot hole of death.
