Theoretically though, there are ways the OGB could exist in future games whilst keeping the Wardens that refused the DR dead. It may require some minor retconning/changing of some of Morrigan's dialogue during the proposition*, but it would preserve a dead Warden's state as being... well... dead while allowing the OGB to exist.
*Not talking about Riordan. It's something else entirely I mean.

June I think is when you can buy hard copies of The Silent Grove, which are excellent and very well played. I love David Gaider more and more every other week.

I'm more than a little skeptical of the idea that there's a relationship between Yevena's implications about dragons and Morrigan's OGB. It's never been outright stated that the Old Gods, despite looking like dragons, actually were dragons.
Well, there are Codex entries in Awakening by the Tevinters who claim the ancient dragons of times past were very similar to their own Old Gods.

The Silent Grove is a haven for Dragons to continue existing and their survival is apparently something that needs to continue. If they die, mankind is doomed.
It's funny. I remember when the devs were sniggering at people for suggesting dragons could be more than animals in the DA world. They'll be talking and giving the PC rides in no time!

This is all reminding me of A song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) which is not a bad thing.

God I love Maric, but I think he is dead.
Despite conflicting sources etc, Flemeth said he wouldn't live to see the blight and I take Flemeth's foresight seriously!
But if what happened in DA:O wasn't the true blight then her prediction would still be correct. The Blight that happened in DA:O was kicked started on accident by an awaken darkspawn. There's still room for them to work with it, and doing it that way would bring back the darkspawn as the main enemies.

@ XxDeonxX
You know you could be right about that.
I was thinking along the lines that The Theirin's might (have been through Calenhad) have been related to Andraste and her husband. Calenhad also disappeard if I remember his codex entries correctly. So Maric wasn't the only Theirin to disappear.

Kinda reminds me of a plot from Fire Emblem. FE6-7(7 was the one NA got to play.) In the past, mankind fought with dragons in a war known as The Scouring, in desperation, the dragons turned a divine dragon into the dark dragon, which was defeated and sealed away by the Eight Legends, lead by the Champion, Hartmut. The rest of the dragons retreated into another world to start a new life and humans dominated the land that became Elibe.
A thousand years later, Hartmut's descendant, King Zephiel of Bern(who actually bears a strong resemblance to Alistair, just sayin',) awakens the Dark Dragon, from her slumber and uses her to call dragons back from the other world and restart the Scouring, believing humanity to be vile and corrupt and that Dragons are the rightful rulers of Elibe.
Also reminds me of Skyrim's plot. Yavana is doing the same thing Alduin did. Revive dead dragons.

What makes you think that Flemeth has little sympathy towards mortals? Seems to me that their trials and tribulations amuse her greatly (or at times, bring about some disdain), but if she truly did not care for them, she would not provide her hazy portents and fly-into-battle rescues. While all of that could be to set in place her masterplan, it may very well be that said plan is intended to preserve mankind. The Grey Nayr wrote...
Sounds to me like Flemeth's real plan is to bring the dragons back. And possibly destroy mankind after the fact(humans destroyed the dragons, and Flemeth is bitter and has little sympathy towards man.)
If dragons somehow are the "soul" (for lack of a better word) of Thedas, keeping the dragons alive would maintain the world, no?

Flemeth: "Considering what the world has done to me. I have already done more than it deserves."
All the humans she's done favors for have always had a hook to serve her plans. Never out of the kindness of her heart.
Flemeth saves Maric, he lets her daughter use his blood to revive dead dragons.
Flemeth saves the Warden and Alistair, and her daughter is supposed to collect sperm and get knocked up to recycle the soul of the old god, which is a dragon.
Flemeth saves Hawke and escorts his/her family to Gwaren, and he/she delivers the amulet to Sundermount and revives her, the woman who can become a dragon.
Maybe Flemeth really is a dragon and can just take the form of a person when it's convenient. Morrigan might be part dragon too, which would be why she was chosen by Flemeth to bear the old god child. The soul of an old god in a part-dragon body could restore it to its original glory.

And for a potential true dragon, what she's done thus far, or what she has planned, may be considered quite kind and benevolent. She hasn't crushed anyone's bones in her teeth, as far as I know. The Grey Nayr wrote...

Merrill: "People who meet Asha'Bellenar usually wind up in pieces... hanging from trees."
Morrigan:" No little girl wants to hear about the Wilder men her mother took to her bed, using them till they were spent, then killing them. No little girl wants to be told that this is also expected of her, once she comes of age."
Also remember Dannon from The Stolen Throne? He was one of the people in Loghain's father's camp. The Dalish found him first and brought him to Flemeth, but because he wasn't the one she wanted, he was killed and his body left hanging on a tree branch for Loghain to find later.
