I don't know if this was mentioned before but has anyone else noticed that when you are scanning a galaxy, if you just fly (move) the Normandy around you can locate the hidden fuel reserves when you move over them. You will hear a sound similar to the sound you hear when you move over a planet. once you hear this sound, scan the area and ta-da, you'll find it every time.
This can help reduce the reapers chasing you down in the galaxy.

Possible. Though I think it's better to spam the hell out the system with scan and just run away / move again in the system to get the one you may have miss as you can choose precisely the position you come into the system.

Yes. Usually it's just faster to ping entire system with reapers in your tail and let them catch you, Then just choose resume and it loads the game from the point you entered the system.
