Also, where is all the "support" from BioWare/EA.. each tells us to contact the other or to post on these forums... hello? we're not the qa or developers!! All we've been looking for (for a month, now) is to have somebody (EA/BioWare, I don't give a flying rats-ass which one of you as both have pissed off so many of us) reply to us .. and acknowledge the BIG problems... instead all we heard about was.."oh, sorry Jonny..here we'll fix your meaningless (in the grand scales of these issues) problem. thanks and have a nice day" Don't get me wrong, if the simple ones can be fixed easily, then, BAM.. fixed, thank you. However, my point is that we, the consumers who purchased your product and have encountered the Major GAME-BREAKING issues, have had no "support" or acknowledgement from either BW or EA!!!!!
And.... YES, I do realize that it takes time to complete an update for a game filled with bugs of varying degrees, HOWEVER, it takes but a moment to to simply post an acknowledgement to a problem and openly state that you are aware of it and are/will be working to correct it....It's bad business to completely ignore customers having major problems with your products!

Im with the same opinion boomnslice. Gladly I didnt run into such a problem with not spawning ogres. But I totally agree. That sucks. Well, Im sure Bioware will fix all of the issues, but console gamer seems to be different customers. I do feel the same. Be sure. Just leave DAO a while and play s.th. else. That does work great on me. Ah and by the way: A game should not be played just because of these achievement-s**t. Do you stop playing after all achievements are reached? lol.

For consoles, work is underway for the first title update (patch) which we hope amongst other things, to address the 360 achievements bug for those early DLC players on that platform.

These are good points. I am seeing the last one happen to people.boomnslice wrote...
I never even inferred that they would absolutely never work on the game-breaking issues... however, he (Mr. Melo) made a point to state the achievements bug.....when there are the Game-Breaking bugs, which are much more important..... that should have been addressed before even mentioning the achievements bug. They never even admitted to them (the game-breaking bugs) nor responded to our plees for assistance. other than to send us back / forth from BW to EA and EA back to BW, with no support at all.....

Personally, I think it's rather asinine to believe that any company of the size of EA would believe in something like 'taking your money and running.' That's just, moronic.
I think you may have taken that comment out of context, Arijharn.
Eshme's remark about "a game of that caliber" was a reference to either BFMEII, or C&C Tib Wars. Both of which are very badly broken games that received no support at all from EA.
Hence my comment about 'taking the money and running', which was a direct reference to that lack of support.
Hope that clarifies....

Your Joking Right???
EA Sucks worse at PC then Consoles. And its not EA its Bioware that is responsible for patch, EA is just Distributer/help Publish.
Examples of EA dropping ball not giving a crap about PC either or een less:
No Tiger woods since 08
No Madden since 08 to I believe
NBA Live (hole series bugged)
Sims 3 had Connection bug(lasted long time, DL content bug etc.)
No NCAA stuff on PC
Mass Effect had Shadow issues(I know thats Bioware to, but after EA became Parent)
Warhammer Online (Need I say more)
Lord of the Ring games (rushed for $$$)
But let me also say EA has done Good too(Good with the Bad I try to be Fare)
Left 4 Dead 1 & 2
Dead Space
FIFA Series
Red Alert & Command & Conquer Series (Although its rehased over and over)
oh one last thing EA HAS THE WORSE CUSTOMER SUPPORT OF ANY COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!!

Actually let me educate you a bit.
Bioware is a developer not a publisher, here is how it works. Normally granted every company is different but this is a general outline.
A Developer will make a game, a publishing company publishes it and has on hand testers etc, after it's done with the test period it goes to submission so in this case lets take Bioware. EA and The companies submitted to Sony and Microsoft.
So we have Dragon age in our hands and now we need a patch right? Bio makes the patch, and the patch has to go through ANOTHER round of full testing why? well what if the patch or the new build causes other problems?
Then that patch needs to be submitted for approval to the respective companies.
It's not a short process or a cheap one. keep that in mind.

I don't think it's a they don't know what quality is, they have a bottom line like any other company.
I'm going to take a gander and assume Bioware has it's own in house testers, but I know EA has testers as well, It's also my general understanding that it's the publisher that makes the deadlines. Since they are the ones paying the submission fees, which is generally upwards of ten thousand dollars.
But then what do I know I worked at activision

I just think if there is an issue it should be addressed, not on a forum that they might check when they have time. Again I will offer write a letter and send it registered mail to all the vp's
