this is my third playthrough my last two i was a rogue assassin and a rogue archer i've been really sticking with the rogues lol so im all rogue out and i wish to try something new so which one of these is more fun to play as
Two Handed Warrior- it looks alot of fun being able to overpower an enemie slashing them all with almost one slash see it sounds fun in mind but im not too sure if it live up to the hype im thinking it might be :/
Mage- i do not wish to become an arcane warrior just to get that out of the way right now the mages look alot of fun and unlike the two handed warrior i have a mage all set up if i pick to do this one next healer every team needs a healer and blood magic just to have a little kick in my spells but it sounds a bit annoying if i can't use my Area spells since it also hurts my teammates :/
i'll be playing on either hard not yet ready for nightmare lol
Two Handed Warrior Or Healer Blood Mage?

Did you ever play with Sten? He was a 2H Warrior. Darn good one too.
My first complete play through was on hard. I chose a Female Elf Mage Healer for the PC. I travled with Alistair, Sten and Liliana almost exclusively.
Liliana sang her party buff song while I had her focus on archery. She would rain death from afar. I set her tactics to ranged. I never really used rapid fire, because I wanted to get as many critical hits as possible. I normally had her only use pinning shot and that armor penalty one [can't remember the name] for her default tactics. Once I got arrow of slaying, she would focus on and try to kill enemy mages or DPS threats.
Alistair was my tank obviously, and I spent a lot of time with him as my selected character. Whoever you are controlling when you enter combat instantly gains threat, so if I was controlling the PC or Liliana, the bad guys would agro them instead of Alistair. Once The bad guys had a bead on Alistair, I clicked off and went to work with my healer/controller.
Sten is an interesting character in my opinion. He is also very powerful. after I set off some early spells with my healer/controller [for example, paralyze, or what ever] I tend to take control of Sten and just "drop the hammer" on bad guys attacking Alistar, or go after the little turds that die easily. If I draw too much threat with Sten, I let Alistair throw a taunt and reset.
On Hard, friendly fire is on, but it only deals half damage. With my party, friendly fire really was non-existent. I am about to start up a Nightmare play through soon, so that shoudl be fun as well. Normal difficulty is for people who want to play as Mage/Mage/Mage with the PC, Morigan, and Wynn where friendly fire doesn't really matter.

Hard only does 50 percent damage on Xbox. On PC Normal does 50 percent. Hard is 100 percent damage friendly fire.
