I dont know why, but i really stand by the thought that CN is showing episodes/shows space magic and endings that dont make sense / have closure / have speculation

Well, I must say they did pick some of the weirder episodes for some of the series. Or just weird series in general.

But if anything I'd say they picked to review Mass Effect 3 after they had already chosen the line-up. That is the most likely scenario if it had anything to do with it at all.

Still very unlikely though.

oh agreed. it just seems ironic that it ties together

also, would of loved to see an episode of Zoids too

The guy who review this is the voice of Grunt....WOW even he admits its flawed.

That review is what got a bunch of us to jump on here tonight.  I was really surprised that they mentioned it, but it's become a pretty big deal.

Hes holding the line with us.

Oh god, I forgot about Zoids. That would have been a great choice too.

...Man, how happy would I be if they ran Toonami episodes all day till midnight.

Wait. Is that Steven Blum.. you know... Grunt?

Oh yeah.  Steve Blum is one of the most prolific voice actors out there.  Lots of anime, lots of games, lots of American cartoons.

Yeah the length of his resume isn't what surprised me. The only thing he's ever done that I didn't like was his Spike Spiegel. I was just surprised to hear someone that actually worked on Mass Effect 3 say something negative about it.

Let's not forget he reviewed mass effect as a CHARACTER. It is not indicative of his opinion. He is being paid to basically read a review that was written by the people who put this together.

Well I'm sure it was more him being paid to read a review. Its not Steve Blum's personal review of ME3, which would have more weight if it was negative.

While he may be being paid to read the review you think bioware would pay him to say the ending was weak?

Sadly I can't bring myself to watch Toonami again after watching it die out with that creepy form of TOM...If this isn't an April fools prank I will most definately watch it next week but why re-open old wounds if they're just going to say APRIL FOOLS!

Sorry dude. I cut my Cowboy Bebop teeth on the original japanese subbed versions. Steve just didn't have that same element of bad ass in his voice. I think the only voice on the dubbed version that really fit was Edward.

I'm curious to see whether Priestly adds the Toonami score to the list of press and media reviews.

Right, but these are paid voice actors. I don't think Bioware will fault him for saying something slightly negative as another character he voices. That would be a very very childish reaction.

I can understand why you wouldn't. I'd love if it came back. In fact, having it come back on April's Fool's would be the greatest plan ever.

Shame it's not to be. I miss thee Toonami.

Personally I find some anime is alot better with American VA as opposed to original Japanese

Take Hellsing and Hellsing: Ultimate for example. It takes place in London/main cast is English so it would only make sense for the characters to speak and sound English while the Japanese voice actors while talented I just can't get into (that and I personally think Crispin Freeman is a awesome VA). cowboy Bebop is one of the shows that sounds better in English IMO.

Definitely.  We really can't take anything out of it on a personal level.  As an actor, it's his job to perform the script that is in front of him.

I figured it would be a tournament episode, but I thought it would be Yusuke vs. Toguro in the Dark Tournament.  The Dark Tournament was probably the high point of the series for me.

Find it a funny he said the ending was weak.
