Like they say. When it comes to nostalgia, 90s kids have the most of it lol
man...those were the days...
Maybe it really is just nostalgia talking since I grew up in the 90s but I really do feel like that was a really amazing decade in terms of animation of all kinds. A lot of those cartoons from the 90s still hold up.

Hold up? I'd say they surpass most of our current line-up in all but graphics. And even then sometimes.

I'll be even more nostalgic and say the 90's was the last really good decade for music. Yu-Yu Hakusho is on now for me. I have all the uncut seasons on DVD heh.Greed1914 wrote...

Gundam Wing was the best anime ever IMO, right up there with Blue Sub #6.WizenSlinky0 wrote...
It's apparently an April Fool's Joke, at least I assume. Can confirm this is legit.
Went to toon into CN's Saturday Anime Block and they brought back toonami despite AT&T telling me their usual shows should be on.
TOM reviewed Mass Effect 3 briefly. I haven't been able to find a video. He talked it up a bit and finished with "The ending is a bit weak, but supposedly there's another one coming out" yadda yadda. Hell, it was probably one of the most impartial reviews of the game I've seen in awhile.
Next on? Gundam God Damn Wing. Talk about nostalgia.
Oh you won't find me disagreeing. Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is my favorite in the Gundam series, one of my first watched anime's, and one of my favorites. If it's not number one than it's damn close. The older Gundam's are so much better. They actually feel like a war. The newer ones feel more like 1 on 1 arena matches sometimes. It's all about the super powerful suits.
I personally prefer the battles between the mass production models. Leo is still my favorite.
Sorry... I just had to relive an old memory.
www.youtube.com/watch
Gundam Wing... narrated by Optimus Prime. STILL gives me chills.
Thank you for that. Seriously. The memories.
But this one and especially this one were always my favorites, and personally I think these same themes are ALSO some of the reasons I like Mass Effect.
The desire to explore space . . .
Ah Outlaw Star.

So I guess Bleach isn't a regular thing. But damn if it means more Toonami, I'm all for it.

That was freaking awesome. Reminded me of the glory days of Cartoon Network. I'm surprised it got the score it did since Steve Blum is in the game.
It's technically not over.
Black and White Astro Boy and Gigantor? Not their usual early morning stuff.
But the best part seems to be over.

Steve Blum is a professional. His job is to perform the script in front of him. But yeah, thoroughly surprised to see the ending come up.

They had black and white Astro Boy and Gigantor on in the final hour of adult swim a few years ago. I don't think that those were Toonami shows though. They tried a new version of Astro Boy on Toonami, but even TOM had to admit that it got lousy ratings.

Never got into Astro Boy. It was...alright, I suppose.
Well anyway I think I can safely go to bed at this point.
