I don't think this could be a more elaborate and satisfying April 1st joke. Mass Effect 3 review that makes sense and talks about both sides? Check. Some new TOM? Check. Some of the best and most memorable anime? Check. Good episode choices (if not always great)? Check!

I think it's even more tragic as they can support having CN, CN Too, Boomerang (which shows mostly really old cartoons, as well as some more modern ones like Chowder Billy and Mandy, etc) and Cartoonito (a baby channel, basically). On none of these do they show anything from [adult swim], Toonami, or even a single adult-oriented series (and by adult, I don't mean 'adult' - I mean not aimed at POKéMON fans, or Beyblade... To be fair I like Boomerang. I often missed my old cartoons.

Man...Toonami. I'm literally tweeking right now. I don't get emotional or sentimental or nostalgic usually.

But apparently it takes Toonami to get my adrenaline moving.

Oh I wasn't knocking Boomerang, simply pointing out that CN have four channels, but don't seem interested in doing anything to cater for those fans that have nowhere to turn if they want the stuff that they used to make, as well as anime. I personally can't believe that CNX was closed down because of ratings, as it catered for all age-ranges at appropriate hours of the day. It was far from perfect (They showed far too much of stuff like X-Men: Evolution), but had Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebob, [adult swim], etc. Now us Brits get an hour slot on a channel that it doesn't feel right being on.

Also: We never got TOM over here. Closest we had was a more feminine robot (well, might've been a slightly modified TOM), wich an English/Japanese woman's voice. It never sat right, really as it was clerly an under-developed idea.
