i dont remember outlaw so much, was that one of the space westerns?
Outlaw Star was a pretty interesting show. Sort of a western, I guess. Main character has the same first name as me, and has the best ship in the galaxy. They're looking for this mythical treasure that's somewhere out in space.
EDIT: They're big on season and series finales tonight to, aren't they.

Gundam Wing was the best anime ever IMO, right up there with Blue Sub #6.WizenSlinky0 wrote...
It's apparently an April Fool's Joke, at least I assume. Can confirm this is legit.
Went to toon into CN's Saturday Anime Block and they brought back toonami despite AT&T telling me their usual shows should be on.
TOM reviewed Mass Effect 3 briefly. I haven't been able to find a video. He talked it up a bit and finished with "The ending is a bit weak, but supposedly there's another one coming out" yadda yadda. Hell, it was probably one of the most impartial reviews of the game I've seen in awhile.
Next on? Gundam God Damn Wing. Talk about nostalgia.
Oh you won't find me disagreeing. Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is my favorite in the Gundam series, one of my first watched anime's, and one of my favorites. If it's not number one than it's damn close. The older Gundam's are so much better. They actually feel like a war. The newer ones feel more like 1 on 1 arena matches sometimes. It's all about the super powerful suits.
I personally prefer the battles between the mass production models. Leo is still my favorite.
^This. Maxwell FTW, indeed.

Well, Grunt's not coming back, so it's not like Steve Blum is doing anything. He could probably use the gig. Just bring Tom back to host the saturday night anime block and we would all be happy as hell.

the one issue with that is i believe they normally play Big O every saturday night after cowboy bebop.
And i agree with the "dark years" it has been good with in the recent year or so, but before...ughghghg
They do. I usually skip it these days. Was never one of my favorite shows and it's really worn out its welcome.
Oh definitely. The last year it's began to move back towards showing some quality shows. Still a few I'd rather not be up there, but over 50% of them I'll watch if I have nothing else to do. Before that...I couldn't even bare to turn to the channel.

This just made my night. I might actually have to get the decent cable again if this is permanent. Freaking love Toonami. Do it CN.
It's just for tonight, since it's April Fools. Probably the coolest April Fools ever, though.

Kinda cool though. It's like rehashing all of the series in one day. You start watching and remembering all the episodes that came before in order to get context. In the end it's like watching an Abridged version of every one of our favorite anime's.

Assuming people even found out about it. It was entirely random and started at midnight, well after many have gone to bed. So it's entirely word of mouth based.
I woke up my friend by calling repeatedly. Needless to say he went from anger to excitement when i told him why I was waking him up.

Ronin Warriors was the very first anime I ever watched. Even before Dragon Ball Z.
Cartoon Network: "Bioware, let is show you how you use Space Magic and actually make people enjoy it. Taking notes? Good!"
