wow, jab number 2 against ME
From blizzard? if so what was the first jab?
Notch made a website similar to this one about Mars Effect, in which he stated a comeback for the endings of Mass Effect
from Notch/Mars Effect
GAME FEATURESThe game is still very early in development, but here is a list of things we hope to include:[*]Hard science fiction.[*]Lots of engineering.[*]Fully working computer system.[*]Space battles against the AI or other players.[*]A game ending that makes sense.[*]Abandoned ships full of loot.[*]Waist high walls.[*]Seamlessly landing on planets.[*]Advanced economy system.[*]Mining, trading, and looting.[/list]http://marseffect.net/

At least Blizzard can admit when they feel something was a mistake, by saying things like "We thought this would work OK, but it didn't so were fixing it."

I mean, they claimed they had 'multiple endings, each influenced by your choices and color-coded for your convenience!', but all I got was a single ending, and I played this thing three times. Granted, that was somewhat multicolored, but the dominant color was yellow. I call this 'false advertisement', and I refuse to buy their future DLC until they fix it.
Is this where this whole industry is heading? Is there no hope for us?

Well, this could have been a quality piece of aprilfirst entertainment, but what oh what did they do to their ending?

You obviously can't see how deep and meaningful the ending is. Simpleton.
You can RAISE and LOWER the Supply Depot, which in of itself is more than enough to write a 100 page thesis on how meaningful it is and how much it speaks about morality and ethics in a post-FTL civilization.

Except Blizzard's games are not on the same boat as Mass Effect. ME is (was?) a choice based personal story, an RPG. It was not that important if shooting part was good or less good. Blizzard games are about gameplay. Be it hundreds or thousands of hours spent grinding stuff in WoW, over 9000 multiplayer matches in Starcraft or endless loot farming in Diablo. Blizzard universe is more about lore. Lore is not same thing as story. Most of ME fans would probably care less if gameplay was lame in ME3 as long as entire story including the ending was awesome. Same as most Blizzard customers will ignore plot issues and just focus on more grind.Mechler wrote...
Well Blizzards story contradicts itself every chance it get's and they are now releasing a wow expansion of fat kung-fu fighting beer drinking pandas and choose as end boss a character who has the same amount of hate as Knaak's favorite (Garrosh and Varian). So I think Blizz should just shut up and make jokes about themselves.
