EDIT: Just realized there's a topic on this on the spoiler section. My bad.

Hey all, was just reading through this year's April Fool's jokes by Blizzard and, in one of them, I believe they're taking a jab at the ME3 ending controversy. Tell me what you think.

They present it as some sort of minigame, or feature, for Starcraft 2, and I'll copy+paste the relevant part:

Features:
  • Endless hours of gaming including repeat playthroughs and Endurance Mode!
  • Deep, rewarding gameplay—multilevel play control allows you to both RAISE and LOWER Supply Depot!
  • Riveting backstory set in the StarCraft game universe!
  • Get up close and personal with an iconic StarCraft hero!
  • Multiple endings, each influenced by your choices and color-coded
for your convenience! (Further epic endings planned for post release as
    downloadable content.)
  • Tens of hundreds of thousands of unlockable hats!

Ha, looks like Valve's Team Fortress 2 also got a black eye.

HAh, yeah, I figured the hats line was referring to TF2. Can't recognized anything else though. Spent the last year just waiting for ME3, so I haven't really played many games recently.

Still a better ending than ME3.

Make sure you mess around with the Zergotchi while you're there. It has some funny lines.

Blizzard takes a jab at ME3 > fans rejoice > Bioware/EA count their money.

Now.....tell me who really wins.

Blizzard should appreciate artistic integrity, and not making fun out of it. Artistic integrity, artistic integrity...

Mojang: Mars Effect

Mojang announced a new game called Mars effect. A not-so-subtle nod to their recent altercation with Bethesda over
the use of the word scrolls. The website states that they pondered many
other game names like "Steve online" and "Wind Commander". In the
features of the game, one of the bullet points says "A game ending that
makes sense" which is an obvious nod to the recent Mass effect 3 ending uproar.

My version of the page now says:

-Multiple color coded and unfulfilling endings!
-Even more endings via revolutionary Democratic DLC™!

God I love blizzard
