Funny, cause WoW started losing gamers BEFORE TOR. I don't even want to mention that WoW is years, i mean YEARS old game and ppl just became bored with it. Come on, how much time can you play the same game over and over again?
And well, TOR isn't doing very well - the number of players seems to have stabilized at 1.5-1.7 million and is not going anywhere. EA is now trying everything to make other into the game (free trials being sent out and so on) but it seems it's not working. ToR is going the same route SW: Galaxies did, but is doing it faster.

EDIT: And since they're talking about merging servers - it doesn't look good.

Initially a lot of players did go to TOR, happens every time a new MMO is released, same happened with Rifts too. After a month or two, most came back.TOR should probably go FTP while it's still got some sort of user base. A good chunk of TOR revenue goes to LA , where as Blizzard get the lot for WoW.

Ok the butthurt people in this thread are just hilarious - it was a JOKE ! Blizz take the mickey out of themselves plenty in the April Fools stuff anyway - anyone remember the bard class or completely dark dungeon from a year or so ago ?

I'm sorry, but I can't condone this......I'm still outraged that My Lord Arthas was killed in a 25man raid by a group of adventurers who nearly got their asses kicked if the Highlord Fordring hadn't smashed Frostmourne to pieces.
