After a few months, I'm up and playing again. It seems I always come back to DAO.

As stupid as it sounds, I don't think I will ever STOP playing. I've put it down for a few months and then there I am, about to start a new game, listening to the character creator music and sipping coffee- as happy as when I first got the game (maybe even happier). The only thing that bothers me is I have no idea what happens to your warden at the end, so no official closure yet. But ever since it came out, DAO has been my escape. I can't put it down, it's one of those "special" games.

It's weird i've never experienced this with any other game, well i've got the same thing with Mass Effect 1 and 2, but i doubt it'll happen with DA2 and ME3 (it's just not the same).

At first i only played Mages (male/female - human/elf) But recently after reading some posts i heard that City Elf and Dwarf noble/commoner should be even better. Almost done with City Elf normal DAO and then Awakening/Witch Hunt are up next. It's almost as addictive as WoW but in a better way, save and quit :).

I love the Dwarf Noble/Commoner origins. Gameplay-wise though, Dwarf Noble has a huge advantage (they can sell their goods at a much higher price to Gorim once they get to Denerim).

The DN also gets one of the best shields in the game.

I started a few new go-throughs. There is still nice content being made by modders that I just had to try! Re-playability is a BIG thing for me.

DA is one of the few games that I like enough to play it over and over.

Meeeeee

Just started a new game this week as a City Elf. This will be my fifth playthough, and  It's great to put on the Warden's boots once more.

I'm thinking about making a few new characters to fully explore all of the elf origins. I only made one Dalish elf a looooong time ago, so any information about the Eluvian, Tamlen and the original Merrill is now lost on me. I've also never experienced any of the city elf origin.

I downloaded the game via Origin and the additional Content as well but I can´t find the Wallpapers and Soundtrack anywhere. Do you maybe where I have to look?

Just started a new game last week. I put it up for a year or so because I don't like the Alistair romance ending choices. ME3 made me realize it could have been so much worse so I'm back to playing.

I can't say I am still playing, as I just purchased DAO, so I am just starting to play. I will say that I rather like it and will probably be playing it for a while yet.

Still playing here, just finished another playthrough of Origins and will be moving onto Awakening and Amgarrak/Witch Hunt soon.

This game might not be perfect, but it comes damn close.

Yes, I am still playing off of an early save in my City Elf's Origin (right after the conversation with Shianna ends). I've been replaying this character since the game's release.

I ahve played every Origin, but have only completed the game with femCousland, femTabris, femAmell and currently working through with my first femAeducan. Although not a huge fan of the Fade and Orzammar at first, I finally am getting to know the dwarf lore in detail for the first time, and it's easily the most interesting and original take on dwarves in fantasy I have seen. It's also a testament to how much is packed in this game. After playing it for three years (as a completionist, at that), I still discover new things, whether it's a new variation in a quest, or a new piece of dialogue, this game has unspoken amounts of hidden gems all over the place.

I'd love to complete the Morrigan romance someday, but it's hard to stomach playing a male, lol.

I don't play it often, but it will always be a game I'll go back and play, unlike DA2.
