Workaround for Liara romance post-LotSB (sticky please?)

Do you happen to know what exactly "LotSB mission B", is? Or A , C, or D for that matter?

Edit:
Now that I think about it, it could be a few things. Mention is made of the video feeds in the broker base when you speak to Liara's father. But I'm sure some people never bothered with them, so it would be reasonable to assume that there's a variable for them. Maybe the dossiers too, but I don't recall any conversation about them.

Also, I think the only thing from LOTSB that doesn't import is if you romanced Liara, Ive heard from people who didn't play LOTSB that Liara explains how she became the shadow broker, she didnt do this in my broshep play through of ME3..

You notice it in some of the conversations, most notably the first one aboard the Normandy.
Yup, confirmed, I dont thin it gets more obvious then that. So I guess as long as you edit any save before you meet Liara (the last being just before you activate the lift on mars that triggers the first cut scene with her), everything works out fine

can you choose the top one only or do you have to do both of these things?jimbo32 wrote...
Many people have complained about Liara not properly recognizing the events of "Lair of the Shadow Broker", so here's how to fix it.
Requires Gibbed Save Editor which can be downloaded here (sort by "last modifed" to get the most recent build).
EDIT:
The newest version of Gibbed (saveedit-r79_b97) has the proper options added as standard checkboxes. On the ME2 "missions" tab, put a check next to each of the LotSB missions. On the ME2 "romance" tab, put a check next to "Liara toured the Normandy". Once that's done, and you've saved the game in Gibbed, you should be good to go.

Set Liara to recognize the romance activities related to LoTSB
1. Open save game editor and then go to the "Plot" tab.
2. Input all of the following IDs (one by one) into the "Bool" textbox. Then press "Get" button. Tick the box for to set true.
14169, 6927, 6931, 6815, 7051, 7035, 7151 and 6941

Anyway, good point. I should probably clarify that in the OP.

Without making the changes, Liara acts as though Lair of the Shadow Broker didn't happen.

I've used this method and it works perfectly. Hopefully this will be officially patched at some point but until then this is the best solution.

Do you edit a ME3 save or ME2?
ME3. Just save and edit right after getting control of Shepard at the beginning. As long as you do it before you meet Liara, you should be good.

During ME3 importation it says "romanced Liara in ME1 and no romance in ME2,I stay faithfull and romanced her in the DLC) => flag inactive.
I have an other problem : on ME1 i saved Zhu's hope colony and Shiala survived (saw her soon during ME2) but the flag is inactive.. Am I alone with this issue?
And an other with Jacob's personnal mission,no flag is activated... It's strange,I will wait some answers before playing ME3.
Thanks for reading and have fun

As for Liara, as long as you follow the instructions in the opening post, you should be fine. Just make sure to make the edits before meeting her for the first time.

Do I still need to check 'Liara toured the Normandy' for her to recognise the event or will it get in the way of my Kaidan romance? Furthermore, if I check it does it make Liara think I romanced her, or just that I showed her the ship? I am confused because the option is under the 'romance' section.
Thanks

I wish that Gibbed would include more romance explanation and variables in the ME3 editor. As it is, the ME2 section doesn't give you any romance options at all, which is a particular pain if you romanced (or want to) someone who doesn't appear as a squadmate in ME3.

I think it's completely dumb, but apparently the writers made a decision that all romances should trigger at around the same time in-game. Despite the fact that the situation with Liara is potentially quite different than the others, being that the events of LotSB are very recent. Having her kinda suggest that they're just good friends when Shepard had just told her a few months before that s/he wanted to pick up where they had left off is...preposterous.
Although considering how BioWare treated the Thane/Jacob/Jack/Miranda romances, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I got manly shep and it doesn't seem to work whether I did the changes before mars or even on a gameplussave edit off a me3 char..
Unless you're telling me that I have to import from me2 with the changes for it to work?
