Ashley: Prefer ME3 version. I'm much fonder of long, free-flowing hair than I am of girls with short hair, or in Ashely's case, tied up in a bun.
Kaiden: The increased detail works for him.
Liara: She's pretty much looked the same to me throughout.
Tali: Well, not much can be said here.

I did enjoy the picture of her and found her quite pretty, despite it being a stock photo.
Joker: ME2, definitely. His eyes are too wide and wild looking in ME3. He looks psycho.
Anderson: ME1 and 2... The added textures are off with him.
Garrus: Except for the facial scarring, he doesn't look much different to me.
Jack: She always had a great face, but as I mentioned with Ashley, I hate short hair (or in her case a shaved head). The longer hair looked better in ME3, but she still had shaved parts which made it look weird.
Miranda: She looks a little off in ME3... I think it may just be the angles you see her at.
Diana Allers: I know, she only appeared in one Mass Effect game, but I feel the need to mention her. I think Jessica Chobot is quite pretty in real life, but her character model just doesn't appeal to me. Cheeks are way too chubby and her whole body is just... shiny. Not to mention that dress... but, then again, looking at fashion (and dancing) in the Mass Effect universe, style is something that did NOT survive into the future.
