The voice acting throughout the entire series has been phenonmenal in my opinion. Both Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale are obviously great, and all the other major characters have great VAs. Even the meme fountain himself had a very fitting VA

Reading that in Lance Hendriksens voice it suddenly makes alot of sense hmm

If he would go and voice some Discovery documentaries together with Morgan Freeman, the sound studio would explode out of sheer awesomeness.

He did a very good job on ME3 and he seems to be a nice guy!

Its been April 1st here for about 21 hours now, its usually just the US thats slow catching up with everyone else.

Of course, everyone knows April Fools pranks are only good for mornings, and anyone that does later is a tosser.

As mentioned elsewhere (assuming this isn't a prank) he'd know ahead of time about the VO work he gets involved with, and if its anything to do with Closure... yeah, Hackett would be a big part of that. Hehe. It'd amuse the heck out of me if Bioware actually got their act together and got all the VO work for all the DLC done during the initial recording sessions,

Can't express how much respect I'd have for BioWare if this is the case. Anyone can make mistakes. Only the best own up to them and fix them.

If this is true though, F*** I wish I were you. It would be awesome to meet him. Hackett is amazing. Honestly, he doesn't have a ton of characterisation or anything, but his voice and the voice acting... I can just feel the character.
I look forward to this announcement though. Will be interesting to see what it is.

Why are people even mentioning April 1st ?

I mean, yeah, sure, it's today, but there's nothing special about this "I talked to the real Hackett and he said Bioware is going to announce something at pax", well... that was expected, wasn't it ? I mean if it's true, it's great OP got a chance to talk to him and that he mentioned PAX but there's nothing surprising about this.
I know that if OP said tomorrow "ok guys, that was a joke", I won't feel fooled nor will I stop to expect something next week...not more than I would be if he said that he talked to peter moore and that he told him there would be a new fifa next year.

I believe the OP. That said, it's not a ton of new information. We knew a big announcement was coming on April 6th. Of course he would know, he'd be a part of voicing it.

Assuming the DLC was planned ahead of time, he would have had to do VO work for it.

Was going to post the same thing as David Bergsma. Lance would need to do voice-acting for Hackett so I imagine if he said something was in the works, he'd be a reasonable source. Whether he cares about the game or likes playing video games isn't really relevant, he is a voice actor and so if they need him for some work, he would know.

The convention is most certainly legit. I cross-referenced it with some of the actors going there, and there are fan sites that show that they are going there. Too many to be fake.

And Lance Henriksen was there, so this is most likely legit. Besides, all it tells us is Hacket will be in a DLC, and that it will be announced at PAX. Still doesn't tell us what it is.

Better than nothing though!
