Yesterday I met and talked to Lance Henriksen at a Sci-fi convention in Sweden. For those who don't know, Lance is the one who does Hackett's voice. http://en.wikipedia....Lance_Henriksen He was really friendly and we talked for a few minutes.

EDIT: For those who don't believe me, here is the link of the convention I visited.  http://www.scifiworld.se/ Look at the guest list.

I said he did a good job with the voice casting. I told him I recognized his voice as soon as Hackett spoke. Lance asked me what I thought about the game itself, and my reply was that it was great until the ending. He has heard a lot about the people's reactions and he understands them because there was not much closure. Also, he also knows what is going to happen in the future with the story of ME3 but he is not allowed to say anything. Finally, he said Bioware are planning to announce something big and amazing at PAX next friday.

Just letting you know :)

Ah April 1st makes me not believing anything at all but that would otherwise be awesome and damn do i personally want to talk with the most epic and awesome character in ME3

Lance has been a figure for me since I saw Aliens as a young lad. I..I want to believe him. Bishop wouldn't lie.

I've had the pleasure of interviewing several actors and I've generally found that voice acting is something that can be a big unknown for an actor, especially for video games. If they're used to "regular" acting, it's a bit of a disconnect -- many of them aren't gamers, partially because they simply don't have the time to get into it. Sometimes, they can't view their own performances. It varies.

But one thing that I've noticed is that they tend to be curious. When somebody approaches them and doesn't gush, but gives them a positive reaction to their voice work, they tend to start asking questions. "How did this work? Did my voice match the visuals of the character? What did you think of this scene?" They don't have a good feedback system to let them know how their individual performance was. There's a lot of actors who are constantly trying to hone their craft, and people who can give intelligent feedback, both the pros and cons, are invaluable to them.

That said, I'd give up all my interviews but one to have gotten to have some time alone with Mr. Henriksen. I've loved him ever since I saw Pumpkinhead as a kid.

Most of the time, April Fool's are funny. Now, that is downright cruel.

You mean mine? Nah, not if you do it with the right spirit. And let them believe it for just like 20 seconds.

Naah, Op's.

People are really bad at reading the first post thoroughly. There is even a link that shows where I met him.

You can't really blame them. It's April first so people are hyper paranoid right now. ;)

If anyone bothered to google any of the actors names and that convention there are numerous sites showing they will be there. Any other day, people would have believed you.

Usually I would have probably just believed you, but I decided to do a tiny bit of research. It proves you're right.

I dont believe. Trolls these days are EXTREMELY good at faking things like this. Add small truths and details to to a big lie and convince others...

Yeah, nothing against the OP, but this is the day that all internet goers fear. Considering ME3's endings, this is even more true. We're taught to bunker down and hope the sun rises.

Bad luck, OP.

If what he says is true, then I can't wait to see what PAX has to bring.
