Another strange thought, another strange thread, I know … But some of you love speculating so … Here’s another opportunity to speculate, debate … What would you do, what would you change?

Be creative! But please stay civil and calm. I don’t want to read any rage posts or insults here. I’m interested in your ideas, even if I already know some of them, I’m sure. Posted Image

But … Let’s give it a try!  Posted Image

Quit EA, join up with Valve. Fire the creative cabal responsible for the end... that's about it.

I'd make sure everyone had thier things straight.By that I mean have a great Singleplayer Action RPG game on shelves on March 6, 2012 with endings that make sense.More fights like Menae,Earth,Sur'Kesh,& Thessia.Like fight on Palaven & other places to fight.

1. Quit EA, go with Valve
2. Make sure Casey never gets a job anywhere again
3. Fire the current 2 writers and hire a whole team of engaged professionals

... and last but not least:
4. Announce the ending as one indoctrination-attempt and release a DLC that will basically be written by fans

Quit EA. They are the worst publisher to team up with, since they don't care about quality.

See which publisher would be interested to give "us" the freedom to develop a game to a high level of quality before they even ask about a preliminary release date. Valve and Blizzard employees remember how it is to work like that.

Focus on good games. There's enough ****ty ones already. Consider a proper remake of Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 (cause the ending is bad but there's more wrong with it than that and it could have been so much better). Fulfill all the promises, make it amazingly good and people will be more than willing to pay for it (again).

Not much.
Complete the game before release. If it takes twice as long as other episodes in the series, so be it.
Use the ideas that appeared throughout. You want to know what Klencory was really about? dealt with!
Get the whole original writing team in (as much of them as possible) and focus on one game at a time. Go with Drew's Dark Energy idea. Even if this requires a separate add-on.

Do expansion packs, not DLC packs.

The first thing i would do is get a cup of coffee.. and wonder around
inside the building.

I would eat a banana, sit back and watch those fans wave in their cash. Yeah... I would smoke a cigar too, just to top it off as evil capitalist. Then again... that wouldn't be any different from how it's run today.

Become independent like bungie, and get atari or namco bandi to do the publishing. Its really not hard. You can tender your resignation.

Blizzard is still independent. Activision doesn't dare to tell blizzard when to release games and you know why because blizzard made sure it was part of the contract that blizzard would get the final say on when a game is released, same thing Valve with EA (They are an EA Partner) and Bethseda with Zenimax.

It good when a developer gets the final say on the release date

If I took over today? Start dropping some Ending DLC trailers on the web, you know short one teasing fans. If IT, short ones with each ending "choice", e.g. Control, Have Harbinger saying "We own you now Shepard!", Destroy, "We will find another way, Shepard!" Synthesis, "Amusing control!" Then show a small part from the DLC with Mark Meer saying, "Now we end this, once and for all!" Black screen MASS EFFECT DLC, coming April...

I'd be buzzing!

Wait to be told what to do by EA, and then comply.

Whatever it takes to keep the company upfloat and in green. If pleasing the hardcore fans will be beneficial from financial point of view - there you go,new ending we listen to fans and super cool et ctr.

If not - sorry guys artisitic integrity, wall of text as closure, here take a new free multiplayer map. We are cool, right? By the way there are multi map pack and new weapons for X.XX$ plus retake omega for XX.XX coming soon.

By the way guys - why blood lust? I really do not get "fire this or fire those" remarks. I tried to avoid job positions that would involve ruining someone's life by having to fire them, and you are "off with their heads". I do not get it.
Ending sucked,i agree. Whoever was responsible for this made a mistake in my opinion. But even if they will not fix it, the same people did so many things right. Not to mention that getting them sacked will not improve anything now. Be real. Do not let saint anger lead you to all the wrong places.

If I owned Bioware, I'd admit the ending in hindsight wasn't up to Bioware standards and announce DLC adding / fixing the ending.

There's no reason for Casey to be fired, the ending is bad but no one deserves to lose their job over it.

So much hate at the writers here.

Guys most of their stories so far have been great, messing up at the finish line doesn't mean they are bad or deserving of punishment. They just need to make reparations in the form of a new ending.

I would agree with the anti-EA sentiment, but Bioware cannot just 'decide' to leave.

The first thing I would do is to take responsability on how things went with the ending. Sence I own the company the buck stops with me (one would think at least). I would make each statement about the ending true even if I have to make them free DLC but if my company made a promass about a product I will deliver on that promass. If anyone in my company making a promass or statements that where never ment to be true or never part of the plan with the ME games I would FIRE THEM on the spot.
