If I have a steam version of DA2, bought before it was yanked from steam - can I buy and download DLCs from the bioware webpage and make it work (Like Legacy and Mark of the Assassin)? Or do I need to buy an entire new game from origin in order to buy any DLCs?
Thought I'd ask before I realize it doesn't work...
Question on downloadable content and Steam

You don't have to buy it again, but I think you have to download it again.
Contact Customer Service at support.ea.com, and explain that you want to switch from the Steam to the "EA Origins" version. Since you've already registered your game with your EA account. This will be a free download.
(Actually, I've heard that with a registered copy, you don't even need the Customer Service rep. Just log-on to "EA Origins" and you can get the game directly...)

See if the activation or game key form your steam versions works at activate.ea.com. If it does, make sure you install and if needed update Origin from EA, then download the EA digital version, uninstall the steam version, install EA version and all DLC will work.
If your key works it will be entirely free to switch to EA version.
