 After beating the game and watching the Green ending I was left wondering how choosing synthesis was fundamentally different than what the reapers are explained to be.  I might be wrong, but I seem to remember that the reaper ships from the first two games were explained to be a fusion of organic and Synthetic design.  Also the flash backs that the commander gets in the first games show the gory transformation of civilizations being fused with synthetic life.  Once again I may be wrong, but all of the enimies that the third game throws at you are fused versions of organic life with synthetic upgrades/collective intelligence.  So my question is, if you choose the synthesis ending, are you not simply carrying out the process that the reapers set out to do?
