Error concerning a specific texture... how to get rid of it?

I finally managed to get the game working properly (I was experiencing a lot of rendering thread errors, but I drastically reduced them installing an old version of DirectX) but in some map locations I get an error message always concerning the same texture and then the game crashes. It looks like the game engine is experiencing a problem loading that specific texture and, as soon as I approach the world item that uses it, the game stops working properly. I only got it in:1) Bring Down The Sky DLC (when you open the room to free the hostages) but I managed to avoid it choosing to kill the batarian boss instead of saving hostages.
2) Pinnacle Station DLC, as soon as the Ahern's scenario starts. In this case, however, there is no way to avoid it and I can't complete that mission.
Of course, if I try to restart the game 100 times, I get it 100 times. It's not randomly happening.

Is there a way to get rid of it? Maybe removing that world item or modifying LOD settings (I noticed that changing them sometimes procudes similar rendering errors, but concerning other textures).

The error I get is:

Rendering thread exception:
Attempting to load unused mip #0 for Texture2D
BIOG_APL_STD_Geth_Bomb_L.Cube

I have an Asus G71V laptop with
- Intel Dual Core
- 4 Gb of RAM
- Geforce 9700M GT (lastest drivers)
- Windows 7 Professional x64

I'm running the game as administrator, with no cfg tweaks and no compatibility mode (using it is even worse, tons of errors).

I have already answered this, an hour ago. The first of the two of you has an outdated laptop that may not have a full-power CPU. No way to tell without a proper reports as SOP for the forum. No way to validate your claim to having "the same problem", unless you claim to have the same laptop, the same OS, the same SP level, the same background processes, etc etc

In other words, extremely unlikely.
