I think indoc. theory is rather poetic, in that I like the idea that the true 'final battle' of ME is in-fact Shepard attempting to not travel down the same path as TIM and Saren. I think it's a nice interpretation of an ending that is plain and simple terrible writing. All the actual evidence points to Bioware actually thinking it was a good ending, which is rather mortifying but almost undoubtedly the truth. I admit that the majority of the evidence indoc. theorists use is... sketchy at best. To put it lightly.

There would have to be more gameplay/story after the indoc. scene as I've said multiple times.

So at what point does the dream sequence cut off? - it's full of issues.



After Shepard "chooses"?
Then the retarded space magic still happens, the Normandy still inexplicably crashes

After the space magic scene we go back to reality?
The Normandy still inexpicably fled the scene and crashed on a conveniently garden world.

Both the space magic and normandy scenes is imaginary
Then it very much was "all a dream dood", the game has no ending!



Incidentlly can we agree to disagree over the religious stuff. My first post on this thread got attacked inexplicably by some theist linking my lack of faith with a desire for space magic (wtf). Both sides are as guilty as the other but it's completely irrelevant to this debate... move on like the rest of us.

In disagreement of the whole "Writers don't hide sophisticated plots", I would like to point out the whole Kreia being Handmaiden's mother ordeal in KotOR II that most of you probably didn't know.

Granted it was made by Obsidian, but the point remains, there's plenty of things in games that are never explicitly stated, yet would be absolutely game changing if they were.

According to doc. theory, Bioware obsfucated the entire ending of the game. Which is a little different to knowing who popped out of who
