Uh you guys (and gals) maybe we should all jus try and relax? I'm pretty sure no one here is being paid by anyone...plus I don't know if you guys (and gals) know this, but when that story came out a while ago that companies were doing that, they would hire people to do aggressive campaignin in other people's forums/sites/blogs etc.

Not saying it couldn't happen that someone pays people to skew stuff in their own forum, but it seems very unlikely....

You know, this messageboard has a nice messagebox where you can go to and write each other, exclusivly, to discuss who is being paid by whom and who should be the lawyer of which forummember, bioware-employee or ethical standard.

Now, on topic:
Anyone considered, that sometimes the codes for xboxlive (ME3 comes with a 3-day Xbox-live gold membership for free) do not work because of haxx or error or something else? That would be a serious issue Amazon would need to investigate.

It is still safe, EA still will support them and customers will still buy from them. Even the people who say it is the end of Bioware are still here. Many of them even after will still be here. I did not enjoy DA2 but I will still look at and probably buy DA3 because it is a new title which may gain enjoyment from where in the past I did not from the previous title.

These types of Xbox-only problems are the most likely reason for halting sales.

Well, people who say it's false advertising are correct, considering you can get only one ending, regardless of your choices, in A,B,C ending form, which they clearly said it would not be.
This is a bit overkill, but I do see where they're coming from.

The german amazon is still selling ME:3 for Xbox. So I think it's something about the local charge of the UK. Maybe it's incomplete (like a disc is missing, or one of the cards like the XBL gold thingie), or misprinted or something.
I wouldn't make too much of it now.

It is not true though because it is three variations, similar but not the same. As a retailer the product they advertise on their site is the product description not what a developer says on a forum prior to release. As a product being sold by them it is for sale on the description they give themselves. As such if it is about the endings and product description then it will go back up and the message removed as soon as someone investigates. If it is directly about the supplied product regarding codes and such then it will be looked into by Amazon relating to such. I do not own the 360 version so I do not know this problem with codes.

As was written by someone in the beginning of the thread, I think and hope it is the start of gamers finally standing up to the false advertising that game companies (not BioWare or EA exclusively) are currently doing.

If that would be the case, Amazon had to stop selling all versions of ME:3, not only the Xbox one. And even amazon.co.uk and amazon.de are different subsections of the company, I srsly doubt that they would continue sales in germany (we germans are far more likely to complain and take legal steps against such things as our british neighbours), as the laws about customer-rights are in germany more strict than anywhere else in the EU (Origin itself is under supervision and EA was filed to clarify the exact datas Origin are spying on...).

It might be a nice illussion, but I just don't see a retailer of Amazons size really bothering about something like gamecontent and change their businessmodel because of it.

Sorry I never screenshotted it because I was of the assumption that people would not call me a liar for pointing out a fact and saying such earlier. I never accounted for ignorance of others, my apologlies as I should of known better on these forums.
