I just had a match where I was effectively non-corporial.
I only got shot at once, could never ever pick up ammo, never even got ammo at the end of waves, and I unloaded on objects and never did any damage.
Out of desperation, I even attempted to use both available ammo packs (which as I bought two spectre packs when I first started playing might have actually cost money) and I still never got any ammo.

I kept using shield drain on Nemesiis and never damaged their shields, I used incinerate on everyone else, and never seemed to do any damage.  I also was never actually attacked except for one Atlas and it only dropped my shields.

I had a similar problem. I couldn't refill ammo in any way, and neither could 2 of the other players. Only the host could get more ammo. But the 3 of us still could damage the enemies with either melee or powers. And they could damage us. I think the problem had something to do with the host, because I always encountered this problem with a certain host. One of the other players said that the host is probably cheating in some way. Don't know about that though.

Although it was interesting and even fun to fight without guns (we got to wave 9 against geth on silver), I still think someone should take a look at this.
