It's a bit sad that you have a "side" in the first place Retaker. You shouldn't have to try and "win" people into agreeing with your opinion.
Am I the only person who finds this statement almost comically absurd?
Are you a geth? Does your society only make decisions via consensus?
It really depends on whether or not you base your opinion on other peoples.
"I like Kill Bill."
(10 other people) "I hate Kill Bill."
"Oh, now I hate Kill Bill."
Cute, except that has nothing to do with what you said.
"You shouldn't have to try and "win" people into agreeing with your opinion."
It's called debate and it's a healthy part of any non-autocratic society.
EDIT: Not to mention you criticizing "taking sides" and then calling him/her a "Retaker".

Hopefully you're not going to compare this game to actual important things that impact peoples lives greatly, like the restrictions of freedoms because of someones opinion.
If you aren't, then yes it is absurd that you are trying to "win" people to your side. Even better you think I have a side because I'm not a Retaker. That's just insanely delusional logic there.

Actually the anti-enders here were waiting so much for yatzee to bash the crap of bioware over ME3, its funny how they all hate him now that he disagrees with them...
Actually one or two were, and the rest rightfully predicted that he'd take the stance most likely to ****** off the maximum amount of people.
Yeah keep telling yourself that only one or two people were waiting for yatzee to bash ME3
What do you honestly thing people were hanging on Yahtzee's word like our lord and saviour?
Who doesn't know that he's a professional troll anyway?
Yes, there were quite a few people like that until a few days ago

It's kind of like when the President of the US has to comment on something happening in pop-culture, or some viral "cause", due to being the President and being expected to make a statement; He doesn't know what he's talking about, he probably hasn't "Watched that show" or "Seen that Internet video". The event has been distilled and summarized by someone else and that is their entire exposure to it.
I mean for ****s sake he was parroting the "Art" line, I sincerely doubt he has spent the fairly ridiculous amount of time required on these forums reading up on our analysis, or reading any countless number of articles written about it. He may have witnessed the ending but a lot of people saw the ending and were initially "Okay" with it, it's not until AFTER and you start thinking about it does it really sink in and Yahtzee has not committed any time to doing that...why would he?

Either way, I don't care. Personally I have never enjoyed any of his videos or anything written by him, regardless of if it is a "character".

Yahtzee hates people like the "Retakers" and generally acts like a dick in all of his videos. That's part of his humor. If you take anything he says seriously, you ARE an idiot. His entire act is based on rating everything badly, no matter what it is. I've seen him give like 2 positive reviews, and then they got really bad at the end.
Plus, half of you are idiots. Same with every video game fanbase.

Yeah.... sometimes it's hard to tell if Yahtzee is being a t*** because thats whats expected of him, or if he realy is as pretentious and ignorant as he makes himself out to be. The ONLY game I have ever heard him portray in a bright light was Silent Hill 2. You have to wonder.... if he realy hates most games as much as he makes out, then why does he bother to focus his living on them?
He considers himself a critic, not a reviewer, and he takes that label very seriously. Even if he loves a game he still approaches it from a "they could do better and this is how" standpoint. He does it specifically to call out and keep in the forefront that as an ever-evolving medium, games always have room for improvement and neither the industry or its consumers should put games on a pedestal and always demand better.
To wit,
Erik Kain, writing for Forbes magazine.Complaining isn’t a bad thing, either. Voters do it all the time in the realm of politics but an angry voter is considered “active” in politics, not “entitled” to good government.Isn’t it better to complain? Isn’t it better to try to make a change than to simply give up? Isn’t it better for developers and consumers alike to communicate this sort of thing rather than to just give up on one another? If you ran a restaurant and the food you served wasn’t any good, would you prefer to have your customers leave and never come back or would you prefer to hear their complaints and give you a second chance? Would you mockingly refer to them as “entitled” restaurant-goers? For that matter, are people who eat at your restaurant entitled to a good meal?

Yahtzee's forte has always been to provide less than mainstream opinions in a package under 5 minutes long. Really easy way to do it now is to call everyone a d**k. You don't really watch his videos for their informational value rather than for pure entertainment, right?
