It's a bit sad that you have a "side" in the first place Retaker. You shouldn't have to try and "win" people into agreeing with your opinion.

EDIT: Not to mention you criticizing "taking sides" and then calling him/her a "Retaker".  

Hopefully you're not going to compare this game to actual important things that impact peoples lives greatly, like the restrictions of freedoms because of someones opinion.

Eh, Yahtzee generally doesn't have a great opinion on anyone who likes a game more than casually. (Unless that game is Portal or Psychonauts.) I wouldn't take it personally.

I am somewhat disappointed that he had to add the whole "Oh, but if they cave under the pressure, fans will only have to whine enough to change things in the future" argument. Which is nonsense, I can't see people get this upset over just anything.

Oh, I'm just making generalized commentary about how he seems to have hit a nerve here. Really? You can't? How long have you been on the internet?

Admittedly, I avoid the BSN usually for that reason, but I'd say the outrage this time is somewhat bigger than usually. Charity donations, the cupcakes thing, general media coverage... But obviously I don't keep track of all games (including their fans' reactions to them) out there so I could be wrong.
